grow more fertilizer ???

I hope I'm not asking for too much but here we go anyway. This is a nice thread guys lots of good info. I have 2 grows under my belt in rdwc using floraduo gh nutes and the rest of the expert recirc lineup. not too impressed but I dont have much experience. I do find whole nute lineups a lil too complicated. Feels like Im just putting a bunch crap in the rez and half of it I dont really need. It's warm here in the central valley so indoor is a no go for me right now. I'll be growing plants outside in 20 gallon smartpots using a mixture of miracle gro garden soil (i'm on a tight budget), kellogs organic raised bed mix (1-1 mix), and a lil perlite. the strain is Alien OG from Darkheart nursery. (clones came in rockwool and were fed nutes at 1200ppm from the nursery). Went to the hydro warehouse and picked up some GM Foliage pro. I rigged the Miracle gro liqua feed system too a 5 gallon bucket so I can feed the girls easier using the GM nutes. I want to feed every watering and the back of the GM bag says 100ppm. obiously Im going to have to make the solution concentrated so the feeder can siphon from it. I'll be able to adjust the ppm's using the "feed/water" adjuster on the feeder. A few questions...

1. How should I feed being that miracle gro has slow release nutes?
2. Will more runoff flush out those miracle gro nutes faster?
3. Can I use the GM Foliage Pro and the GM Hula Bloom all the way thru to finish?
4. If I get any additives it would be like 3 tops. Wich 3 would be the best choices?
5. Should I be aiming for higher ppm then 100 if feeding every watering?
6. If GM Jump Start is Bio-Cozyme+Avalanche combination, why would a flower hardener be used from start to finish?
7. I bought the GM Bloom Pro. I want to do the 3-1-2 veg 1-3-2 bloom regimen. Im thinking the FP and HB at the right ratios would eliminate the BP. Sound right?

As far as additives Im lost. When in rdwc I switched from liquid karma to floralicious plus and noticed a huge difference. The floralicious plus was amazing! Im confused as to wich GM product would be kind of similar cause they have like 3 with similar ingredients. Any tips on how too incorporate the additives at the right ratio thru the feeder would be awsome. If I can make this feeder rig work properly I'll be super juiced. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I might have to get with a more strict diet from that nute schedule cause I haven't been getting near the large colas I used to using advanced nutrients and judging from comparisons it should out perform by far.

Which schedule are you using?

The #36 schedule on plants that produce, the only difference is I'm using it in Pro mix HP. I started trying the grow more before visiting this site so I had most the products before the schedule, so I was using those nutes with the hp and never switched over to match up.

Locally there are people using that schedule with the opposite result, although they are also using a biologically active soil mix. If you'd like I could create a schedule using PRO-MIX® HP as the media. I'm not sure whatever variables might be involved in your grow.

Sounds like a better plan, I enjoy using the products the only other additives I use would be dyna-grow protekt but if grow more had a substitute that would be acceptable I'd try it.

Can you explain this any further? I've had really good luck with potassium silicate.
The potash levels in our feeding schedules are already at significant levels. Increasing the potassium input further risks potassium toxicity.

Although potassium silicate in other feeding schedules will increase weight in your buds, I don't care for the practice because it also imparts a harsher taste.

what about a light foliar potassium silicate. i use grow mores hawaiiand bud 5-50-17 1/4 tsp/gal and just like a 2.5 mils/gallon snowstorm 0-0-3. and like i said light foliar potassium silicate. sensi bloom base nutes and bi cozyme in pro mix hp. but thats starting week 3 or 4 depending on how the girls look. i am gettin necrosis spots on near the veins almost looks like mites.

If an item on my feed charts is not in stock, then it will not show in my Amazon store. However, other sellers are likely to offer it.

Regarding Avalanche, I believe that if your crop needs “flower hardening” then throughout the growth and bud cycles it received insufficient nutrients (meaning minerals, not PGRs) and light. I don’t sell a product with that specific purpose.

However, I also believe that PGRs can be beneficial throughout the life cycle of the crop. The manufacturing process, concentrations, and ratios of constituents in Jump Start have been modified twice since its introduction in the 1990’s, most recently in 2012. It is Grow More’s most advanced PGR product that you can buy without a license.

What exactly does the PGR in Jump Start regulate?
Isn't Mendocino Avalanche a Kelp based product?

Potassium silicate has been used in agriculture since the 1950's for stiffening turf grasses, esp. in putting greens. I don't care for it because I'd rather have oilier, less fibrous buds.

so maybe just in veg. i just love the fact that it keeps the mites away and my gg4 always gets bigger buds than what tha stems can hold up despite fans and all that. maybe i need to kick something else in and drop the silicate. i do wanna stay with as much grow more as possible it just seems like they are the not scared to put everythin on the labels and from my experience so far the quality is there. thx for the input btw.
