Grow box or open air? experts needed

i have the choice to either grow in my walk in closet in open air, or turn a 4ft tall by 6ft wide by 3ft deep dog crate into a brow box... i plan to hang 2 -100 watt flouro at the top, and one smaller wattage flouro on each side, and have a combo of warm and cool... im also going to hang an oscillating desk fan in the corner, and then cover the whole crate in mylar and cut holes for ventilation and install vent covers to keep light inside......

should i make the box or just use the openness of the closet?

If you feel you can do either or, you should go with a closet. It will produce a mighty shitload of weed by comparison (Might Shitload = 2.8 Shitloads).

grow in your closet and get atleast a 400watt HID.

Use the whole space and pick up some used lights on craigslist I have a 8x6x8 Im setting up right now=) clones are rooting will be in soil tommorow and under 1000whps this weekend=)

well, i am only germin 5 lowryders so hopefully I will end up with a couple females.. this is my first grow... i was wanting to build the growbox because i thought it would trap more light in.... i can only afford flouro... so the closet with the lights over the plants should be fine? thanks alot bros

thats awesome dude... i am germin five lowryders now.... first grow... i can only afford flouro.... so i guess i should ditch the grow box idea because the open air of my walk in closet will be better? the walls are already white, and i can make a box out of one of the corners and put mylar on the sides that arent white, that way the light stays in...... any tips much appreciated
