I've heard of someone drilling holes in the foundation of a basement grow claiming benefits of ground air. Any legitimacy to this?
Thanks for the info. I have no "basement smell" and id like to keep it that way .....yah do not do that if u do u are looking at getting that famous basement weed taste from pockets of mold forming in the holes when they get water in them
the only thing u need to worry about with air
1 are u moving in enough fresh air per min ...........i like over kill my air replaces once every 45 secs
2 are u planning to add in extra Co2 for the plants
3 the heat plants like a cool breeze just like u do under a hot day in the sun
4 the air u are dumping out of the room is really removed so it is all fresh unused air/Co2 for the plants
ok now if your basement has that smell like some basements do.............the best way to clear this is Ozone it attaches to that smell and settles it so the weed does not get that taste in it but u have to becareful not to over suppy the Ozone it is bad like to much Co2
The frequency thing is supposed to be true. We had something for it in our grow room.Jesus lol. This source speaks about a friend who grows for a center. He claims he has holes around every pot, not for drainage, but these supposed 'ground air' benefits. The same dude also claims to play a certain sound frequency in the room that boosts trich development..... they're completely oblivious to my grow so its not to steer me in obscure directions.
depends on if it's for just water drainage or not, there is a reason all plant containers have drainage holes, but i'm not sure what you mean? It's always a good idea to have superfluous drainage. Roots need air.I've heard of someone drilling holes in the foundation of a basement grow claiming benefits of ground air. Any legitimacy to this?
