Greenthumbs Incognito Low Odour -Journal

Howdy-do,

This is Dr Greenthumbs stealth plant that he made after being asked by customers for a low odor plant. He says you cannot smell them unless you put your nose right up to the buds. I have to admit, that being somewhat of a smell junkie, I don't have any need for a plant like this but its intriguing enough for me to give it a try anyway. I also have a patient that has to keep the smell of MJ from his kids and he insists that low odor plants are much easier for him to get away with. "As long as it doesn't smell like a skunk when you grow it, I can pass it off as something else" he says. According to him, it also helps if it has a fruity smell/taste and this one is said to taste like lemon, and coffee with floral hints.

So, I started 3 seeds and after 36 hours they have already broke soil. These are said to be good for tree style grows, so after a while of veg i will pick one to finish in a 10 gallon pot and destroy the others.

Any questions, fire away.

Here we go.....

Day 1.

Good luck with this DrGreuber! This might be the strain of his that I am least interested in! Extremely admirable you are growing this out for the community to see, when you yourself do not have much of a need for it! Thank you from all of us!

Here's an interesting new prospect strain indeed! Wow so you're gonna select from these three plants a keeper and destroy the rest? From what some friends and I have experienced, Dr Greenthumb's seeds give all very uniform and vigorous plants.
Got some questions:
  • Growing in a soil mix, what are you feeding them?
  • What is your lightning setup?
  • Finally and more interestingly, what is the main trait do you plan to select from? (scentlessness, production, quality of high...
Looking forward for more pics!!

This is a very interesting strain and journal. Dr Greenthumb seeds from what I've seen is fire. The Dr in this journal grows a lot of his beans and he has produced nothing but quality. I think Dr Gruber said he really doesn't have any use for this strain but is growing it to see how it does. Not for sure but I wanna see what they do and how potent they are

Growing in Promix HP using Jacks Classic Citrus Blend(20-10-20) for the entire grow. I will probably hit them twice with Jacks Blossom Booster (10-20-30) in week 1 of flower and then in week 6....but thats just an approximate guess.
I have 2 x 600 watt HPS and 1 600 Watt MH all hung vertically around the plant.

For these I will looking for the plant with the best branching, node space, and, general vigor for the keeper. The only bummer is i wont know what its going to do in flower as far as smell goes but as you said Doc's plants are pretty uniform.
This will be the first time i used the Jacks citrus blend and it should be interesting. I have heard many good things about it from people I trust.

I have it from a reliable source that despite the low odor they have a very strong taste and potency.

Just starting it's second week of 12/12. Its about 52 inches tall from the soil line and the branches are getting thicker. When I first put her in flower the branches were a little thin but she really bulked up and should have some strong branches to support the weight it's going to be putting on.
