The gavita at 600w out does my old 1k digiballast and about 400 w of t5 side lighting

But im always looking to be more efficient for sure :)
Definitely interested in the leds since they are doing better these days
Agree with Heisengrow fully about the COB LED's. Mine rock it in my small tent!

Migrated from blurple LED's to them last fall. Much better quality coming out now. Rapid led is a great place to start.

Good luck.
I'm in legal recreational state, but growing is still restricted.
To grow legally here in WA you've gotta have a medical authorization or a state "producer" license.
I've got a medical permit but I'm only allowed to grow 15 plants.
That's why I'm not entering any of the contests -- I'm maxed out on plant count... :-(
Have you thought about grafting females to a mom plant? I'm sure it's not that hard. Not really gaming from a production perspective (all they care about is the $$), just variety. - that's my plan, if i can do it.lol...I have a 12 limit myself

I always mail cash.its easier.i just write the order number on a piece of paper, fold cash up in paper and put in envelope.send it priority mail at the post office.i had an issue last week my wife sent to wrong post office and it came back.gu went ahead and mailed me the seeds anyway and I just mailed out the cash to the right address.

I tried grafting once and it didn't end well.
Having a plant count limit sucks when I run regular seeds. Can't take cuttings until I cull some males, so my clones will have to revert back to veg.

I got some dreamcatcher today. The card option seems to work for me
It depends on the card. I tried to use my Alaska Airlines Visa and they refused the charge as "suspicious".
From what I've heard, the easiest option is a pre-paid credit card from Wal-Mart if you don't want to send cash.

Does greenpoint take cards?

Just tried a few times a didnt go through
It says they are. I'm fixing to drop a few hundred on seeds from them.

@Heisengrow

Nice plants. Did you get freebies from greenpoint?

I'm fixing to go from a cab to a 4x4 tent. It will be a mix of cobs and t5. Right now I have 200 watts of citizen 1212 gen 6 400k. Ill probably mix some other cobs with it and a few t5. Like the Agromax pure par and 10,000k+uva bulbs.

I also have a unit farm ufo 80 175 watts of cree and osram diodes.

I feel like a true breeder should have the ability to sift through 1000s and test their own seeds or close friends whose garden u have access to, tbh that's the only way they are really gonna know how good/consistent the seeds will be.
Of course that's not feasible for most especially running thru 1000s, sending out 'testers' is better than no one 'testing' them at least... not many people are really what I think are 'breeders' though, just pollen chuckers that make f1 crosses mostly, that's fine as there's good chuckers with fire genetics but just not at the stage breeding will be at, using lab testing, working lines a lot more, sifting through many, many plants. f1s are great and keep more diversity so no issue with that, just too much hype pollen chucking and releasing/selling every seed made rather than using them for a another project refining the line for better yield/structure or even resin quality...
Greenpoint and cannventure seem to on thier game. All thier stuff looks fire.

Another member here grows thier stuff and his always looks good. He also claims to.have the best genetics on his side of the Mississippi.

I can't wait to try thier gear out.

F1 crosses is fairly common in the ag world. A lot of food seed is f1 hybrids. F1 crosses tend to be uniform and it makes the customers buy more seed. You breed them and make f2 they will be all over the place with the phenos.
