more more more mo....
FWIW, I have a whole house RO system with a calcium upflow filter and find that MC is pretty stable.
Maybe the reintroduction of calcium carbonate to the product water is helping?
I've been reading about this product and it looks amazing! Been growing in coco lately and this seems like a perfect fit - no hassle
If there are still free samples I will order them from the site. The only problem is that I am from Europe and the shipping costs are murderous! I'd apply for the free shipping giveaway - if I'm not too late... (I've been using GH flora trio and some suppliments sofar)
Yes, we still have the free product deal. We plan to keep it on (forever?) since people really like it. Shipping for the free product same I think to EU will be like 6$? Message me if it is more we can help cover part of the shipping cost.
Ordered a free sample yesterday. 13usd shipping (11 eur) to EU. Convinced a few friends to try it out as well. The 9.9kg pack shipping is nearly 100 usd though - which considerably brings up the price. Still from what I read this product is amazing! Good job!
the 9.9kg pack max price to Europe should be like $65 or something (?), so with the pack $55 + 65 = $120 estimate.
Keep in mind, it is making 9000 Liters, so $120 / 9000 = $.0133 cost per Liter, if you compare to your normal nutrient products you can get a good cost comparison.
Come across the megacrop nutrients by surfing the net for nutes with CalMag already in it. I placed an order for the 21 lb bag to test out, have not received yet but it's on its way. I usually use Jacks but I have to add Cal mag in my drums I mix in.
Will this fertilizer take out the need to add lime to soil?
I grow inside and outside all soil and also thinking of switching to hydro. Soil I buy in compressed bales is always lacking in lime and you have to stay on top of it or you can get nute lockout. Also does this build up salts pretty fast and have to flush frequently? Is any of the nitrogen urea based where you have to use in soil?
hello, thanks for being interested in our nutes! Yes, the formula has high Calmag built in, 6.5% Calcium and 1.9% Magnesium. So, its quite high and there are only some uncommon situations for example growing in Coco with certain strains where you might notice a deficiency and want to add more.
sorry, just wanted to add if you grow under COB LED's many will experience Ca/Mg deficiencies no matter the nutrient line run. Supplemental is almost always needed.
i grow under quantum boards in coco/perlite w/ mostly maxibloom powder and i've never needed supplemental cal-mag but i use tap water so maybe it already has some in it. if i used RO i might have a problem.
speaking of which i'm almost out of maxibloom - @GreenleafNutrients is there anywhere in Canada to order yet? I imagine even if there was they wouldn't be matching your sale so it'd probably work out to the same amount for a large bag... does anyone know if import duties are based solely off value or do they factor weight in as well? has any one imported a large bag to canada?
No, unfortunately no shops in Canada yet. Import is based on cost, but we can mark the package like $10. I never heard of anyone in Canada having to pay extra fees or import duties. EU sometimes can be strict on that, we had someone who had to pay an extra $15 a few weeks ago on an import, so now we just mark the packages very low value anywhere they go for export.
About the CalMag. The formula is 6.5% Cal, and 1.9% Mag, so the few people who did have a problem with it, I think it might be to Mag only. So a Calmag supplement will fix this, but it really is a Magnesium deficiency. Anyways, not really too sure about that, just thinking, because if it was just a Mag deficiency, then you could just use Epson salts to boost it, which is very cheap and available. So this might be a good option for a few people who mentioned they needed extra cal/mag.
I mention cal & mag together because they so often come in the same bottle.
Adding a little supplement is just splitting hairs. I don't add a full dose of CalMag or Si just more as I see fit what the plants need. No purpling of the petioles and heathy.
Lookin healthy. how many plants in your tent?
Just one, sometimes I do two.
Wow Is that one Sativa ? if two, more space would be better.
No Clear water Kush Scroged. Two fills the scrog faster but sometimes can be different heights. More space would mean more light and bigger plants. This does all I need it to for a personal grow.
You are right. Any pics updated?
I'll get some updated tonight. What you see so far is at 150w. After the stretch and the last two weeks of flower I lower the light and increase it to 185w
Good job. Will keep an eye on your update
