awesome thanks good to know, have about a half bag of some other nutrients to finish this run !
Here is a special Black Friday/Cyber Monday or whatever you want to call it deal. We are selecting 4 people from the previous entry pool, and giving away 2300g size bag
So, once again, this is for 2300g size Mega Crop, you can order from the website and we will PM you the coupon code.
If you want a FREE SHIPPING product, PM us and we can send you a smaller order with shipping paid (international OK).
Also, if you live INTERNATIONAL, we can upgrade you to 21.7lb bag free. PM us if you live international and want to swap to bigger size.
Congrats lucky winners! Happy growing
Damn, congrats to the winners!
What a surprise! Thank you, I cannot wait to try it out. Can I just stop using my organic botanicare and go straight to this or should I just finish up and start from veg? Not sure how long shipping will take but I am only 2.5 weeks in flowering.
From veg on the next run would be my opinion on seeing what the nutrients can really do on their own. Just my .02
You could just switch to the MEGA CROP as soon as you get it, follow the feeding chart, and there will be no problems.
But, as hydrored said, if you start a new grow from scratch, it might be interesting to do this. So, if you already have nutrients, you can still use them on your current grow, then switch on your next one.
hey GLN, i switched mid run and i just wanna touch base with you on feed strength. is 6g/gal the max you recommend even if im running co2? i am dead on in the VPD chart, the environment is finally dialed in. co2 is set at 1200ppm and i know in the past i have read that you can match your feed strength to your co2 ppm but when i check the feed chart on the website im only around 546 ppm of the base nutrients @ 6g/gal
Interesting question! You seem to have things dialed in with VPD and CO2. The feeding chart on the website is just a general guidelines, kind of a starting point. Some growers may find they need to lower the feed, and some may find they can increase it and get better performance.
If the plants look healthy at 6g/G, you could consider raising from here. PPM calc is based on elemental, which some growers use. This is a bit different than PPM meter.
just thought id throw this up here. i was playing with some info right now. i would normally run jacks at 1.2 but since i am running co2 i was told to hit 1.8 with it(50% increase) and if i followed the same logic with MC i would hit 9g per gallon(2.4 ec with all the additives but )

Total PPM 818.9991 (2.4ec) i dont want someone to see this and go "818 doesnt equal 2.4 ec" lol so im gonna explain it before hand. at 9g per gal you would hit ~1.6 ec of base elementals but with all the other additives in there(kelp, aminos etc) it brings the total ec to ~2.4 ish.
my plan is to hit 2.0 and see how they do and proceed from there
Interesting! Excited to hear the results, you seem to have everything dialed in. The only thing to worry about is nutrient burn, so as long as you do not see anything, you should be good!
Just received my free sample in the mail! 230g - I have 6 plants at the beginning of their flowering stage right now
so I plan to use your throughout my flowering to replace my fox farm nutes. I can't wait to see how my plants do.
If they do well I will be going with this lineup from here on out.
looking forward to your feedback! thanks for posting!
I'm entering with absolutely zero hopes of having my name picked, so I'll reluctantly enter my name for a big bag. I'll be paying for shipping a big bag to Canada here soon either way
Can't help but love the simple all-in-one approach and liking the results people like @ChaosHunter are seeing so far/already.
Hopefully things are going well for you GLN. Thanks for taking the time to develop M-C and I wish you all the best of luck in the future!..cheers
I got a early surprise int he mail today! My 22lb bag of Mega Crop came in on watering day, I had one more feeding of Botanicare left but I will save it for vegging and clones or the veggies.
I gave the bag a big of a roll to loosen it up and mix it a bit, I used 95g for 16 Gallons of RO water. Do I need to mix this stuff more? PPM came out to 770ppm where the calculator on the site says I would be closer to 540ppm? my current Botanicare organic concoction is at 1050ppm (week 3-4 12/12). Am I ok? Do I need to add any CalMag+ with my RO at 3ppm?
Keep an eye on pH when using MC with RO water. It seems to have a tendency to drop like a rock after a few days according to a few trusted folks on here.
Also, dont be put off by ppm since the ppm they account for on the site is for the N-P-K values alone. Thats doesn't include any of the other ingredients like kelp etc. I had the exact same realization when I first mixed it up but have had zero issues with it. Its been suggested to run a little leaner with the nutes than the web site suggests just to err on the side of caution and then bump it up as the grow progresses to gauge where your plants are happiest. I'd also suggest supplementing cal/mag to any nute brand when used in RO water since it is devoid of those elements. Honestly, I'm quite happy with MC so far!
Thanks I will add the CalMag going forward. Probably add it to the next plain water which is usually 3 or 4 days when the pots start to get dry in the ProMix HP
