Greenhouse seeds(Arjan) Anybody grow his seeds?

So the king of pot was on tv lastnight on drugs inc.It was intense to see how many seeds this guy has ..literally millions of dollars in seeds.Question is ...IS his shit legit???he has some serious landrace that could be great for breeding and if yall into that aspect of the business his research and seed hunting could prove a good source for new breeds.

Have run their great white shark before, total bunk, all hermied badly, varied phenos and average quality smoke at best.
That Arjan just looks like a shifty mofo..

I figured that would be the case.He's just cashing in on anything he can.

now you got it.. arjan isn't a breeder, never has been, but what he is is a marketing genius, a used car sales man of the best variety..

I have run a few arzan's Haze #2. Not the biggest yielder, but the bud was really good. No problems growing though

Ive always wanted to try the white rhino and their chemdawg but the idea of contributing a nickel to him makes me feel like a sell out hype believer lol

I have some GHS White Rhino. They were my second seed purchase ever and before I knew anything about GHS or Arjan. I don't really care if they come out good, I wouldn't buy from them again either way.

As racerboy states. He is a marketer, not a breeder. Just like subcool. And to be fair, a damned good one. Kinda reminds me of apple. Get the marketing right and you'll get any old sucker to buy your shit.

I just picked up subcools brian berry cough cuz I was looking for some o dat strawberry cough genetics.so far things look pretty damn good.

As for Arjan" The king of pot ",dude has a fucking bobblehead made of himself. Now that's marketing!!!As far as genetics of seeds, and strains a gogo, sometimes all it takes is a little luck cuz the majority of the breeders out there are one hit wonders making a batch then disappearing into thin air.

Most breeders i find are smart enough to stick to only a small group of strains and perfect those.

Its when they try to do to much, that waters down their product line.
But themarketing schemes can go both ways.
I was intrigued by a few ghs strains before watching the show.
Now i not only dont want to spend my money their because of his obnoxious face but now they are endorsed by miley cyrus and whiz kalifa no thanks.

I don't like what they're doing to land race genetics. I thought those strain hunter videos were neat until I paid attention to what they were doing and stopped drooling over the fields of cannabis.

They trade feminized seeds to the local farmers for landrace seeds. These farmers then go and plant these feminized seeds in the same plots as the landrace strains. Those farmers more than likely will breed the seeds they get from GHS to their landrace strains. They're not preserving these genetics, they're aiding in the destruction of landraces, all to cash in on that almighty dollar.

I think it might have been the jamaica episde where the growers themselves stated that the land races were vanishing as it was all being swamped by outside genetics that were explicitly bred to thrive in those climates. I personally couldn't care if something is bred to be more suitable for the conditions, landraces should be protected under heritage laws. Fuckibg legalities.
