Greenhouse Seed Alaskan Ice. Should I grow it?

I have decided to stop ordering seed and grow out my current stock. I have been collecting for 10 years and I only grow micro. 1 or 2 plants at a time. I am thinking of doing Alaskan Ice as its my oldest strain. I purchased from the first release (I think) in 2009. Have since taken a negative stance on Greenhouse. After growing for 10 years and doing a lot of research, I think most of you can understand the negative thoughts of the company. But I am smart enough to know that GHS does have some gems in their line up. The arrogant owners approach to the business is my problem.

Just wanted to see if anyone thinks I should grow this strain. I've been growing a lot of OG hybrids lately and was thinking of changing things up a bit. And I want a Sativa Dom. My older stock consist of the Ice, but I also have 2 seeds of DNA genetics Sour Cream in my stock. Same time frame purchased. Any info would be appreciated!!

I'd grow DNA over greenhouse. Not just because of the reasons you've listed, but because DNA you will probably at least get something around B quality. Too many terrible reports of GHS that I'd save those as beans of last resort.

Never grown GHS and never will. I prefer to learn from others mistakes instead of repeating them. DNA hasn't really let me down so to speak. Pretty solid company from my experience

I grew 3 Alaskan ice's a year or 2 ago . And their defiantly worth growing, if you got the time and space that it. I got 2 different phenos out of the 3 pack; 2 were super stretchy and 1 was somewhat shorter.
The buds were on the small side and fluffy but their were bud sites everywhere.
It took me like 11-13 weeks to flower but defiantly was worth it, super potent shit.

I'll back cannabis culture on the potency of Alaskan ice. Mine smelled like lemon pledge and were so sticky every time you touched buds you couldn't get the resin off your fingers. The high always reached the same potent ceiling as the first few times you try it, great for everyday smokers concerned about a tolerance build up.
