Greenhouse Great White Shark not cloning..

Anyone have issues cloning GWS from Greenhouse? I took about 9 cuts from a beautiful mother and after two weeks nothing!

I used rooting hormone and rapid rooters to no avail. Opened one or two up and nothing there. All are under a dome, regularly misted.

I've heard Greenhouse strains can be difficult to clone, any input?

Ive heard of clone only but never seed only.
I have recently cloned the hell out of ghs chemdog and found it so easy i didnt even need hormone the second time and i never misted.
Only lost 1 of 25 and thats because i trimmed to much first and it was a runt.

When i clone in cups i only mist once put the lid on and dont open for 3 days then remove the lid dont put it back on and mist once a day, you dont want them too wet and mine root in 12 to16 days with that strain.

Are you sure your root cubes are not drying out? Or perhaps sitting in water? I use 3 clonex products, the root gel, the mist spray, and the clonex nutrient solution. I cut my cubes on one side so the gel doesnt rub off to the top when you insert them aswell. I ph my solution, allow them to soak it up for an hour then dump out the water and put the dome on. I usually repeat this every other day. I mist every 5 days. Hopefully this helps.

I think I may have went a little wild with the spraying. Was spraying them once/twice a day with water as well as inside of dome.

This is my second time cloning and the first time went much better !

Exactly, you want to encourage the roots to grow which doesn't happen when they have constant input from spraying.

try not misting the plants at all and just misting the plastic lid and making surethere is moisture in the propagation tray but don't sprey the leaves what do the cuts look like ?

i take cuts dip in clonex and straight into a damp jiffy sprey the lid and leave check every 4-5 days and sprey the lid if dry keep temps up around 80 and moisture in the tray and on lid and in 2 weeks you got roots like dreads

Dip n Gro and Rapid Rooters in domes has never failed me. A good rule of thumb is 75% Air in the the cloning media and 25% water. Moist: not Wet.

I sprayed the hood and the clones everyday, and watered the rapid rooter only when it looked dry, every 3rd day, heating pad, powder rooting hormone. Blue dream and Chemdog rooted in 7-10 days.

XXX OG took 28-32 days! 7 clones, 100% rooted. I almost gave up on them.

I don't hold to the theory that some plants take awhile to root or are difficult to clone. It simply boils down to user error in my opinion. Are you nearby the SFValley? If so we may have the same XXX cut. I see calcification in 3-4 days, first root nubs no later than 5-6 days, every time, every strain. I've used powders and gels and have always come back to dip n Gro. It never fails.
By the way: a heating pad can be extremely detrimental unless you actually truly need one. Basically turns your dome into a pitri dish unless it is truly cold enough to require one. I never use a heating pad. No issues here..
