Green to yellow vegging

I use water farms. Tried to minimize shock on clones by planting them in soil for 1 week. They looked great. Transplanted them to the hydroton in the water farm. They have slowly gone from deep, dark green to mostly yellow leaves with a touch of green that are forming a downwards u shape. I think that they may not be getting enough water from the halows. Any thoughts????

Get water right to the base of the stalk for two weeks.
They don't have any root system yet. My waterfarm halos or rings are like a foot around man. Water travels down like a pyramid yea but roots gotta be there.

Thanks for the input. I have now rebuilt the halows to a 4" circumference & found my ppm to have been off on my RODI system. Hopefully these 2 corrections will help the issue.

I have done the same thing, I didn't use soil I had them in my DIY aero cloner but planted them in a waterfarm and had issues. Getting the water to the base of the plant until it can grow a large enough root system was the answer.

ppm is 550 & ph is 5.6
