So I have been using great white for years now works great but I have also used roots exc with great success. Well I go to my local hydro store today, and I'm standing in line and I ask the girl what's the difference between the two? she says one is a bacteria and the other is a antibacterial. I have already purchased both so if anyone has had this problem or knows how to use together I would greatly appreciate advice or input.

As usually. The hydro store person is incorrect. Roots exc is not a sterilzer. If it was a sterizer then why can't you use airstones with it.

There is a tremendous amount of research that shows the befits of using beneficial bacteria and fungus. Not so much with roots exc as they don't tell you what is exactly in it. Plus it's fucking stupid expensive.

Stick with beneficialls. Better yet, pick up the OGbiowar benies they are cheaper and contain a shit ton more spore counts (with more diverse species).

Happy growing

Lol hydro store people just say anything nowadays. I haven't used roots in over two years seen on amazon for thirty bucks so I picked it up ended up being a sample size. My great white is almost out so I will be picking up some ogbiowar. Thanks a bunch

No prob. The story with OG is that this guy on thcfarmer started selling benies. (Capulator)

The shit worked so awesome that it blew up and he started an eBay store ...blew up even more and now he has the ogbiowar sold in stores. Check out his website, some really good info.

I'm in hydro so just use the root pack. Root and nute for soil folks.

Don't feel bad, I once had a big expensive bottle of RE on my shelf.

Base nutes, good environment and benies yields me gram/watt. Can't really ask for more

Myco grow has been tested at around 80 propugules/gram. OGbiowar root pack.. 125/gram

Just saying...that's like 60% more working ingredients per gram.
I'm not going to talk all day about how great it is and what not, because really, who gives a flying fuck what the other guy is doing.

But you can trust me on this, those in the know, those that grow weed in a competitive market and make a living, have been using capulators stuff with awesome results.

Peace

Great white is sooo fucking expensive. It's kind of funny, you can lead a horse to a fantastic fucking product that many many professional growers have used and found to be awesome...but you can't make them try it.

I'm trying it but I do both hydro and soil. Do I need to buy the root and nute pack for soil?if I do would you suggest buying 2 nute 1 root pack. Also have you made any brew tea with this product for hydro?

If you read, you'll see,and know, adding any product besides mycogrow and ewc for your tea is being redundant..like throwing an extra ice cube in a full cooler...
But it's YOUR $..I hope you like to save it...

Can you not extend the amount of great white by using it to seed a tea? Also if anyone has any info on microbe lift pl I would like to hear it. I use it along with castings to brew tea and so far so good. Not sure if its helping as I never had any real issues in the past. All I really know is roots are big and white 2 weeks before pulling. I figure the liter will last appr. 2 years at $25.

Roots exelleratur and great white are 2 completely diff products my dude.

One is beneficial bacteria and microbes and one is a root innoculant. They arent even comparable. They work great in conjunction with one another but they serve 2 completely different purposes.

Roots excelleratur is by far best root innoculant on the market. Nothing comes close to that product that i have ever used. As for the great white there are many beneficial microbes and bacterias that u can use which are alot less expensive that work just as good if not better.

If youre doing organics and your using great white i always advise u add some source of sugar to feed the microbes. I like humboldt honey its all natural 100% organic its inexpensive and works awesome. Good idea to always mix it up in a reservoir and use an air stone for a few hours before u drench the rhizosphere, u really want to feed the roots not just use great white as a stand alone product the microbes need to be activated as it is a powder.

The roots excelleratur is fuckin awesome thats a straight feeding dont need do anythimg with that product except to add it at least once per week until about the 3rd week in flowering then its pretty much a waste after that time and no longer needed.

Bol happy harvest cheers

Hey bud roots excel is a sort of sterilizer, it promotes a barrier between your roots and harmful bacteria and pathogens while promoting robust root growth similar oroducts are the old aqua shield, think called hydro guard now from botanicare.

Roots excell def the shit best product of its kind on the market, even the competitors agree and have actually removed their root innoculants from their line ups until they can come up w something comparable or better which noone has formulated yet, its def pricey but there isnt a grow i do that roots excel isnt used on. I use it on all my runs extensively, and its worth every penny imo. Theres nothing like it period.
