Colombia. I live here now and even though I might go back stateside at some point I am def. Retiring here if I live that long. Look at Bucaramanga. Medium sized city, good infrastructure good hospitals, and the fairest cost of living vs. Quality of life in colombia....its mild weather warm during the day and nice and cool at night....
Hey, I looked it up. You should be a travel agent. Know a good airport and hotel? Been saving for a vacation and watching the news down there. Been some real improvements with laws and the rival Cartels (if they are called that). Saw video on the Strain Hunters how they sell it in produce market. Sure sounds neat and the weather looks impeccable. Gonna have to save up but love hearing about it.

I'd say Colorado but things are getting more restrictive here, in spite of the citizens of my fair state voting repeatedly for legal weed without restrictions.
I read about CO all the time. The Cannabist makes it look like a paradise. Even the Gov. seems to be positive as it's made CO very rich. I would hope you exercise your right to grow 12 plants. I would be happy with one. I got two problems with moving there: one, it's cold and two, it's expensive. The bugs would be better I suppose and you always get what you pay for.

It's not nearly as cold as people think. This is becoming even more true due to climate change.

As it is a desirable place to live, there's no doubt it's expensive.

Colorado still earns more taxes on fossil fuel extraction and other industries than Cannabis cultivation, but it has generated hundreds of millions in tax revenue on over a billion dollars in legal Cannabis sale in 2016.

And yes, I absolutely exercise my right to grow 12 plants in my home.

Nice to know. Have problem with cold as I shiver under 50degrees. Don't think I could afford electric unless they offer nickle/Kw like hydro electric. Great to know somewhere in US it's possible. If I want twevle here I'm outlaw going down for another Felony.

Uruguay if you're up for decent weather year round, fully legal, up to 6x plants for personal, decent and reasonable health care. It's a little expensive around a couple of the major cities but in between there are some very nice coastal towns where you can pick up relatively cheap real estate or rent, usually within walking distance of a beach.

Heading there for a couple of weeks at the end of the month, a visit, some contacts, and checking out some real estate :eyesmoke:
