Grass Smell ?

Ok, harvested and dried for a week. stems didnt exactly snap. But the nugs feel dry now... anyways, been curing in jars now for about a week and a half. when open the jar they smell grassy. i want my nugz to smell bomb diggity!! any help??

did you trim them well? how dry are they in the jars?

Either you harvested too early or you should have let them hang dry longer.

If they are still moist in the jars then I would pour the nugs out a couple times a day and let the nugz breath.

i did actually harvest too early due to family coming out. I cut them at 8 weeks. is there a way to make them dank still?

they are fairly dry now in the jars. I can put them in a bucket and bounce them like popcorn..

might have to keep them jarred up for a month. I just checked some crap bud from my last harvest.Two weeks ago it still smelled like hay. I just now checked it and it has a much better smell. It's been in the jar for six weeks now.

When they are in the jars you don't want them to feel wet and you especially do not want condensation to build up.

So, I would honestly just let them air dry for a couple of days and hope the wet grass smell disipates.

the longer you let them dry the sweeter it will be!! in time that grass smell will (or should)go away.
