Grape Punch w/ cfls, T5s, in Fox Farm soil

I tried to germinate the 1 and only seed I got from my last Shipwreck grow but it didn't pop so that was that.
This time I'm starting from clone with 1 Grape Punch.

The empty bucket is going to be used for a hempy experiment to be started soon. I want to compare Fox Farm Soil to hempy bucket method.

Don't know what strain I'll get for that.

Also, I invested in a 4 x 23w bulb T5 fixture.
I plan on flowering with 3000k T5s and a bunch of 23w cfls.

I LSTed the Grape Punch and it's been vegging for about 2 weeks. I gave it FF big bloom a couple times and tonight i gave it a dose of Alaskan fish emulsion. (5-1-1)

I also started a XJ13 in a Hempy Bucket. I wanted to try out the method so we'll see. Just been watering that one with tap water left to sit 36 hrs.

Also you can see I box in my setup. There is reflective emergency blankets lining the side of the boxes. This is all within a lockable closet.

The hempy bucket i don't know about... i never bought hydro nutes so I just gave it FF big bloom, some alaskan fish guts, and water that sat out 36 hrs. Probably had some lockout from ph or something... but I started 12/12 a few days ago and the XJ13 in the hempy is responding well.
The grape punch in soil is doing great. I'm excited about this one.

here's the grape punch. I took her out an hour before lights on and sprayed with this Shultz Fungicide 3 product that's mostly neem oil. Hopefully that will help and not make a new problem for me. Besides the little bit of PM, my grape punch is looking great.

Pain in the ass powdery mildew. :finger:

so if you noticed I had to cut the top 3" off my plastic container... when I planted the clone I didn't fill the pot up high enough so there was like a 3" lip that kept the air from circulating underneath the plant. I hacked that off then trimmed the shit out of the plant.. it was so bushy! wish i had done that earlier to avoid the powdery mildew problem... but now i understand why its so important to have good air flow.

I also added an Allerair HEPA, UV, and charcoal filter to the closet and that should kill 99.97% of all mold spores. I got this thing free from a friend who didn't realize how expensive they are. Lucky me!

Hey man all looks good! Love the stealthness too. I hate how hempy's are so slow at growth in the beginning, it always seems like you are doing something wrong haha. Pick up the 150watter man..you won't regret it.

yeah that hempy didnt do anything for the first 2-3 weeks then all of a sudden it shot up. It's over 18" now. I've been giving it FF tiger bloom. It's an XJ13, Jack Herrer x G13.. i can't wait to try that one... the stem smells sooooo fruity and good. Probably my favorite weed smell.
The grape punch was smelling good like white grape juice until the other day when i sprayed it with fungicide. Now it doesn't smell much.. i hope the smell comes back.

Heres better pics since the lights are on now.
Im running 8 x 23w cfls and a 2 foot 4 bulb T5 jobby. Still running all blue veg bulbs in the t5. i need to get some red spectrum t5s but havent made it to the hydro store.

Looking great man i just had a quick question I really like the results you got from your lst on the grape punch, could you explained exactly what you did. From the looks of it, it seems as if you only tied down the main stem and let it do its own thing from then, Happy Growing.

i took a piece of ribbon, wrapped it around the stem for support then pulled the plant over in the opposite direction of the ribbon and held it down with a piece of bent wire coat hanger. I did this about 1 week after transplanting the clone into soil. As the plant grew i kept holding down branches and the main trunk with more wire hanger pieces. I probably used about 20 pieces in all. It's really easy. After it had vegged about 4-5 weeks and filled about 60% of the pot, I switched to 12/12 and trimmed underneath the canopy a bit. I should have trimmed more and earlier because I ended up with some powdery mildew from poor circulation and high humidity.

Check out the link to my first grow journal where I grew Shipwreck from seed using LST method.

well, it's week 6 of flower and these beauties are starting to show off. I gave them a little bit of nitrogen ferts during week 3 of flower and those leaves are looking very green. i wonder if they will yellow soon? I'm gonna start flushing the grape punch in a few days.
