Granny Purps in Capitola BEWARE !!

I feel obligated to share with anyone who will listen. Granny Purps in Capitola DOES NOT PAY THEIR GROWERS. Period. I dont know why there aren't a ton more bad review on them. Myself and atleast 5 other people I know of personally have all received the same treatment. Drop something off youa re given a sheet that shows a specific payoff date 30 days out. 30 Days comes and you are lucky to get 1/4 of what they owe you. given the runaround. Told you need to bring them more product so they can pay you off LOL. Typical Con artist BS. 6+ months later and still no money...... Some of these people are owed a LOT of money too.

As far as their quality control. I have seen them pour leaves and stems into grinder for prerolls and sell them as top shelf. Rename strains. You can go in there and see for yourself. Supposedly have 15+ strains but in reality it is half that. T%hey rename product from the same person just so it looks like they have more types than they do. Flat out say that the customers are too stupid to notice.

To top of off I found out the person who runs it all is a registered sex offender.

About as bad as they come. Hopefully they will be out of business soon. They have such a bad reputation from anyone local that no one would touch them now. They reply on new people to scam.

Never been to Granny Purps, but this is not the first complaint I've read. They were slagged on WeedMaps as well for selling mite-infested clones, allegedly.

As far as I am aware they are currently under investigation and their bank accounts have been frozen. If you vended there you are likely fucked.

Bank accounts frozen ? Seriously ? Hadn't heard that . They are still in business though. I figured the end was near but that would seem it is nearer than I thought. I wish them the worst and hope they go under sooner than later. After seeing how they are running the same scam with new people.

They state they grow all their own now yet they recently had an ad on craigslist in san jose stating " now accepting new vendors". They know they wont get anyone to sell to them locally so they are now fishing elsewhere.

They're still at it.... last I drove by it looked was still there....went once with a friend when they where new-ish... no joke my buds had seeds and wasn't the same as at all as the sample jar. on top of that my friends purp had powdery mildew, the sample didn't....for $18-G pre packaged and .2 under.... I would never vend to them, I always act like a customer first to test them, see how they treat and try to educate people, GP are just crooks that could care less.... rip u off and pay less than $1000lbs and put $7k per pound in THIER pocket ...had to vent
