Grandpa's back in the game

It's been a few years but finally get to grow again. I know technology has improved everything so looking for some advice. Going to build a small grow room inside the house, size will be 2ft 6in x 3ft x 6ft 6in. I plan on going 600 watt mh/hps lighting with a air cooled hood. Not planning on using co2 at this time and I will need a carbon filter along with the fans. I have super lemon haze, lsd, og kush and liberty haze seeds but haven't decided which goes first. I have used a lumatek ballast in the past but heard quality went downhill along with their warranty. At amazon I see Ipower or something like that and Apollo who are cheap. There is a worms way close by that has sunleaves and lumatek ballast. So my first question is which ballast brand to go with and second question is which carbon filter works? I live in a non 420 state so you know how it is to be stealth. Any advice will be appreciated. I will check back tomorrow and see if any replies. Thanks

I like non-fan cooled ballasts. Luma-tek. solis tek, gavita, etc

Apollo and Ipower will get the job done though.

And I also like phat carbon filters.
