Gotta make the transplant

Hey. So, I have to move even earlier then intended, and I'm hoping to transplant. It's a 3 and a half hour drive. What's the best way to A; stash it during the drive, and B; make sure it survives the ride, and the time until transplant later that night, or the next morning.

Can I take out of the ground and keep it in a pot, and leave it in the dark for the 3 and a half hour move? then leave it inside my new place until the next day?

yes you can do that. it would be nice to conceal it in a box if you can. give it a little water and a couple of air holes in the box.
if its to big and still in veg. you could do some serious topping of the plant, make some clones from them, and have a nice garden at your new location.

I was thinking about using guitar cases for the ones are too tall. So a box and some air holes will do, huh? Will it be a problem that it goes from living outside int he ground to back in a pot. Will it do with just window ledge sun for a couple days?

yes you will be fine. get them back in the ground as soon as you can once you get moved in. since they are in pots you could put them outside for few hours a day if you can. but you will have to keep an eye on them because they will dry out quick if in pots in hot sun.
good luck let us know how the move went.
