Hey guys so my buds are a few weeks from being done. Just went and got a 60x to 100x scope figured it was time to start checking trics. So anyway I found one plant that was all milky on all buds well let's say 90% so I cut it down. I have 21 all from seed all fem so I figured it's just done cause it's different since from seed any way. I'm trimming my buds and noticed little tiny tiny little bugs falling from buds apon further investigation determend they were thrips soooo found evidence that they are livening in room not cool I had always seen evidence of them but dissmissed the symptoms on plants to light and nutes cause I couldn't see them when fondeling buds sonny question is what can i do to kill these basterds . I have sprayed with cold water and set sticky traps all around the trunks
Of plants and any where I could what els can I do to rid my self of this major tiny plague ????

Garden Insect Spray (Spinosad) by Monterey | Planet Natural

I don't know if you want to spray anything this late in flower, but this stuff is good to have on hand.
You can freeze them out or put them in a garbage bag, seal it up and pump CO2 in there. If the plant does not fit in a bag then make a tent with visqueen from Home Depot or other stores. Pump in CO 2. Also some guy said they do not like 24 hours of darkness.

They just don't pack there shit up and leave.

This guy drowns them with water then sprays the soil with "organic" RAID.

Al Bundy guy says Spinosad (Capt Jack's which is just like Monterey). Spinosad is a bacteria not a pesticide.

Then wash the buds when you cut down.

Thanks for all that info ! I ended up laying sticky pads down on top a bunch of pots ,,,,, went to my local hydro store he told me tons of guys in area have been getting hit with thrips,, gave me two packages of no pest strips I placed them along with the sticky pads and in two days the sticky pads where full of dead thrips worked awesome seem to be all dead and can't see any creaking on buds with scope so hope all is good !!!

Thrips like yellow. You can do the stickies and also make your own. Spray paint metal or plastic yellow and cut strips then add something sticky like Vaseline or spray adhesive. I think you can get bright yellow spray paint cheap at Lowes or HD or even Wal Mart.

You can also find yellow plastic bowl and add water and a little soap.

Sadly spider mites don't go for that yellow stuff. I am glad it worked out so well. Were they Hot Shot pest strips? Have to be very careful around them including any family, children or pets.

They where called no pest and yes my guys told me to be super careful cause they absorb through skin fast so I wore gloves to place them and my room is not in the house so safety is covered but I tell ya it killed those suckers fast and it's almost time for harvest :)
