Got me a Mini Tent should I go with t5 or mh ?

Badass tent right there. Not sure if I should have 200watt t5 24/0 or 400watt hid 12/12. It'll be tough fitting everything in there, looking at 10 exchanges a minute with a 4inch blower
It's 30 by 18 inch by 36 tall. Thinking 2, 4 or 8 plants depending on strain, stealth. 100watts/sqft/12hr is a lot but hey, got to keep em dense.

That short of tent I would use some t-5s

Couple of thoughts will a T5 penetrate all that well? Might not be an issue with autos.

And a 400 seems overkill, and a 150 HPS a bit underpowered but still a good lamp for your space especially for penetration. or 2x 150hps in cool tubes?

The cree cxa cob's [broken record] are good possiblity. Cheap to put together a module. No soldering. Just some basic tools. Good coverage, good penetration, less use of HVAC and slightly less use of electricity.

Love that tent, if it were me [and I don't have the coin anyways] I might decorate it with 3 RW 75's from Area 51. Or 3 Hans too. Pricey, but would last years and make that tent explode each harvest

I'd go with an LED but you're still going to have trouble with the tent being so short. Should have gotten a taller one. You will regret that purchase in my opinion.

I hate to say because all the know it all's that really don't know shit but I use a BlackStar Chrome 240. I run one plant at a time. I have been pulling a minimum of 80 g's trimmed, dried and cured. Sometimes slightly over a hundred g's. I'm a personal stash guy and I haven't ran out for years using the BlackStar. Now, if I were going to buy a new light right now I'd go with an Area 51 190. Those didn't exist when I bought my BlackStar though and I have nothing negative to say about the BlackStar 240 but I think there is better technology out there now.

what t5s are good? i just had an ultragrow burn out 2/8 on me and it's not the bulbs. led is kinda out of my price range.

i'm planning for 15 regular dwarf autoflowers in 1 gal "smart pots". pulled them out of a dime long ago and they grew dawrf auto about 12-16" tall and i got enough seeds from that grow. so 16" plus 8" pot plus 6" cooltube. thats a squeeze at 36" high tent.
they yeild about 14g per plant. soo.. 7 to 8 females 3.5-4.0 zip. 3.5 amp on the 400.. sounds about right at a zip dry an amp which is what i always get. if you get 1g/watt DRY you need to share with me

Unless you must keep stealthy, simply get 4 bricks (one for each corner), if needed, remove the bottom panel, and raise the tent up

Any light loss is down low, so no loss of intensity to the plants

If you are going to go hot5 then scrog to increase bud sites within the sweet spot

I use LEDs. Getting a new players panels Wednesday, designed by an mj grower. Should be sweet. I will be reporting on them in my threads

Because of the height & width of your tent, I would go with the T5's because that will give ya the extra vertical space you may need. I would also throw in 1 or 2 Kessil H150 leds with the T5's. A 400 watt hps is gonna be way hot in that little tent.

I see what you mean, I'll give my idea a try, spare the mj seeds and grow something else with the setup I'm talking about.
If it's a no-go I'll use the tent with my broke (6/8 bulb sites working) ultragrow t5 for a mother/clone tent and go back to cloning into a vertical HID in my 4x4x7, (on my link, tested with lion's tail)
vertical is a splended way of growing.

thinking a HOt5 6 bulb 2ft will work. i'd have to get a quality one since utragrow screwed me (no warranty).

i've been looking at the less expensive led but i've heard mixed reviews

I would throw a couple leds in there instead, but I have a whole room full of them now. I am using t5ho for the clones though and it works.

i'm working with 30" here these are 36". nice looking light though. thanks (for nothing, jk). i was thinking of getting 2 54 watters like the screw-in kind i'm sure it would work but for some reason i don't want them

One last thing.. to protect the carbon filter from crud...
