Got a dutch? GROWING AND GROWING AND.....

Alright guys, sorry for the delay (wouldn't be me without one), feeling a bit better today. My guess, the almighty flu, and it was kicking my ass. Actually managed to eat actual food without hurling it today, so that was great.

I do have a question before I forget to ask here again, tried searching but, don't really find what I'm looking for. Blood Meal, what micros come into play with it? Or, somewhere I can read about it online.

And lastly, the plants....they must love me too, because they're sticking this one out with me. I have too much light concentrated on one area at the top, particularly the new growth, so I will be doing some rearranging there. I'll save the rest for when I get home to take pictures, really want you to see what I was talking about on the main stem.

First, the plant that got hit the hardest at the start with some stress, now doing...not too bad IMO, all things considered. Definitely could be better.

Second up, is the short, and getting bushy. Should I LST for more light down there or keep going as is?

And a few shots of the box after rearranging the lights, CFLs..they make you do that.

Much appreciated man. Nope, doesn't look like I'll be able to get her in there, but I can start her in there while I set up something real quick for her. Already have something planned out. Also considering setting up another box just like this one and running the C99 with a Bubblegummer + veg time. Only giving myself until tonight to consider all these things, as when I get off of work, I want to come home and germ whichever I decide.

More than likely though, it'll just be the C99 getting thrown in the mix.

C99 in for germinationbongsmilie!

She will be treated more carefully. After taproot shows, she will be placed in a solo cup with a MG Organic soil/perlite mix. Soil/perlite mix will be 50/50 this time around. I'll be waiting to add ferts til' about day 16+. She'll have her water aerated and everything from the start. As for a grow space, while she's in the solo cup, she'll be placed in my current box with the other two up until she needs a better source for light. When that comes, I'll have a temporary space made out of...can't remember the name of this thing...we'll say cabinet.

All I'm going to do to it is mylar certain areas that will leak light, make a few holes so that plenty of air can move in and out of the "cabinet". Since no exhaust will be used, I'll instead have a few fans blow up at the bulbs and towards the holes I will have cut. And, of course, a fan inside to move air. With the cold temps, should work fine.

Other than that, had to adjust the lights again for one of the plants, going to bend down the tops a bit because, I see where this is going, at least for one of them. Both will be tied down though.

Alright, so I did tie down the tops, probably going to need to be retied by the time the lights come on again tomorrow night. Just watered each plant with a gallon of tap water that has been sitting out for a day and was aerated for a few hours before waterings. I'm still experiencing some yellowing on the plant in the red pot, hopefully the watering will give her what she's looking for. I am letting the pot get lighter than I usually was to see if they benefit any from that.

Other than that growth is doing pretty good, I have spotted, just a few, small pistils on both plants. Also, I smelled a hint of lemon earlier from the plant in the black pot. Kind of comes and goes. Not going to try to decide which is which yet though, but I'd say that's a pretty good sign she's the LK.

C99 has started to crack open, no root showing as of yet though. I will take pictures tomorrow night.

8 days into flower if I'm remembering right. Both showed a few pistils about a day or so ago. Tonight I'll be working on getting light to the lower branches, want them to be ready for some heavy bud production (hopefully). Want to add two more lamps and put Y-splitters in both for two bulbs on each side of the box. Want to try to aim for 2 bulbs on top, on the side, and in the middle.

Taproot has shown on the C99, going to give it til' the end of the day to get a little longer then I'll be planting her and putting her in with the others.

gratz man on a newborn :)

plants looking good! Glad to hear that everything is in control at your place :)
Really interested on how C99er will grow 12/12 from seed.
Mine exactly at 4 weeks started showing preflowers, just like advertised on FS website. Soon will have to switch to flower as well :)

Sorry to say I went to open the paper towel, ready to drop her in some soil and poof, it rolled off the paper towel onto the floor and amazingly just disappeared. I searched meticulously and cannot find that bitch. Even swept up the floor and found nothing. Aggravating to say the least, hear something hit the floor but can't find it...ugh.

Not how I wanted my day to go right before I go into work but I'll be dropping another C99 bean...right now. Good thing I plan on making another seed order soon. By the time I would find the one I dropped, it'll be dried out...and that's if I would even be able to find it.

The other two are doing well still, have to reach in really quick and raise the lights so they don't burn the plants for the hour that I'll still be at work, it's their bedtime so I'll have to make it quick. Might be ready for a watering tonight. Going to pick up some twine today to tie down a few more branches. Probably take some more pictures after I tie em down just to show what I did.

oh damn, sorry to hear that about C99... I hope your next attempt will be more successful :) that C99 is surely a holy grail. And the discrete odor... Can't wait for you to try to grow that and confirm this as well :) Although I think you should give her at least 2-3 weeks of veg time.

Hopefully your strains will not outgrow your box. indica sativa hybrids usually on first 3-4 weeks grow like 3-4 times their size. Also during 5th-7th week make sure you double cal, mag, sulfur and don't forget to leach every 3-4 weeks or so ;)

We are getting there man. I'm really happy you encouraged me to read whole UB tweaks and pointers thread. I really learned a lot in there

Cheers man and waiting for the pics ;)

I won't drop/lose this one, I swear!

Well, the two currently going did get kind of big but, still easily controllable. Forgot to grab some twine before I left work so I'm going to dig around the house and try to come up with something. Whether or not I do, they're still picture worthy. Very happy with how well they turned around. Definitely needs more splitters and possibly more light, I'll be getting what I need for that in the morning and adding em' in that night. Heat is non-issue anymore.

New seed for C99 has been in germination for about 10 hours or so. Will keep ya posted on that. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did, several of his threads helped. His moisture stress thread helped me tremendously.

So, we're about 13 days into flowering with these ladies (give or take a day), and here they are. Shot of the box is just to show new light arrangement.

The lankier plant got tied down a bit more than the bushy one. A 23 watt 2700k bulb was added, every available socket has a bulb now. I think things would be easier if I took the lanky plant and put her in where I planned to put the C99, and let the C99 grow with the bushy plant inside the box. So, I'll be setting up that space tomorrow, oh, and I will be planting the C99 tonight before I go to bed. For her containers, I'll be starting her in a 3.5 oz Mini Chips Ahoy! container.

My bad bro, been super busy trying to lock down a second job with no luck as of yet. I missed a watering on the lankier plant and now have some yellowing....but not too bad yet.

I'll get some pictures and a better update when I get off tonight...still got 5 and a half hours to go.

And here they are right about 3 weeks into flower, and roughly 2 weeks from first pistils.

First up is what I'm calling the "lankier" plant. Showing some yellowing and I have lost a few fan leaves, blame this on myself for not being able to water when she needed it. I watered her with a gallon of aerated water, waited about 2 days and decided to add a tbsp. of 5-5-5. If no change, I'll be leaching the soil and then replenish the nutes the following watering.

IMG_20131124_032328.jpgIMG_20131124_032345.jpgIMG_20131124_032401.jpg

The bushy one. Also showing signs of yellowing, her soil will be leeched tomorrow and then replenished the following watering. Both cases are more than likely a lack of nitrogen, been about a month since their last feeding.
IMG_20131124_033843.jpgIMG_20131124_033859.jpgIMG_20131124_033955.jpg

And the little C99, doing just fine. About 5 days old, give or take a day.
IMG_20131124_034310.jpgIMG_20131124_034324.jpg

And finally, some shots of the box/light placement.
IMG_20131124_034613.jpgIMG_20131124_034622.jpg

Overall, doing okay for 20 days in flower. Tomorrow night when the lights come on, I'll be separating the two large plants, pulling the "lankier" plant out and putting her in her own space to better surround each plant with light. Last run yielded a little over a quarter ounce each, I would like to see a half from each this time. Looking at somewhere in the 5-7 week range left.

Been about 2 weeks since I last posted about the plants and the good, bad, and the ugly happened. On the lankier plant which I think is the Pure AK had some pretty bad leaf drop, the other has had minimal. Both were fed and thus far doesn't seem to have helped them any. The bushy plant was leached then replenished while the other was simply fed. Other than that, many hairs have started to turn colors, we are about 5 weeks into flower, 4 weeks since pistils.

The C99 has been crazy, first she popped her head out of the soil looking almost white, then she greened back up, and then yellowed the first set of leaves. Terrible starts seem to be a trend this round.

Tonight I'll be making adjustments to the lights inside the box as well as pulling C99 out of there and placed in her own space. As you remember I was going to put the lankier plant where the C99 is going but after the leaf drop I won't be expecting too much more from her. Based on what they look like now, I'd say 2-3 weeks left to go.

Question for anyone, C99, if I flip her to veg, could I expect any devastating effect? Would like to do this since she isn't doing so well. Pictures to come tonight, trying to get a hold of a friend with a better camera to better show the stickiness and buds in general.
