Good question about autoflowers.

Hey guys, how is everybody today.
Ok so I've read that an autoflowers light cycle has to be 18/6 or 20/4 or on all the time.

The thing I was wondering is, which out of those light cycles makes the plant grow faster and healthier.
If I leave the lights on all the time would that be my best choice, because I think the plant needs some dark time and not be under lights constantly.
What is your guys opinions on this?

I've had a light on for 8 years straight.

Buy a couple of these a year and you're good to go. I will never buy an expensive bulb again. I get the same results with these. Trust me. Been growing for a bit.

There has been some posts i have read about people doing experiemnts with autos and their light schedules. What ONE grower found with the strain he was growing was 20/4 or 18/6 grew the plants faster and a bit bigger, but 12/12 ended up yielding him more. I am running a set of autos right now and have been doing 20/4 the whole way. Experiment. it is all preference to you

These wewer 19/5. Those are 15 inch pots that hold about five gallons.

You are probably right. I don't think the extra size is worth it.
I'm doing one more run in those pots then going back to 10 inch pots, about 2.5 gallons, for autos. Run four instead of three.

I get the most yield from my cab using two 7.5 gallon pots and doing a scrog. Just more time.

The 1 gallons just have to be watered more often. Way more often. Lol

I did not know you ran auto,, cool, been looking into running some auto thru my cab , I need something three foot or less

You get bigger size with bigger pots. The tap root determines when it flowers.

I have read a lot of people say 3 gallon is the sweet spot. That seems about right after trying a few different sizes.

I would run mephisto.

I should've tagged you. The vault and mephisto have given seeds away for comparative grows. Five seeds and a t shirt for free.

Mephisto has been the best auto I've run. Top three in order: Mephisto, Buddha (not big Buddha), and dinafem.

I liked bomb seeds photo plants. They do autos to. I haven't tried their autos but if they do as good job as their photo plants then they are good.

I'm growing some autos in a RDWC hydroponic system and they love it, unlimited root space for them.

Fuck, I will be happy getting 20 zips from my whole hydro crop. Let alone one lmao. God damn mail needs to get here with my hps bulbs lol. Stuck with mh for the most of this grow. Frosty though...

Love them fat colas! Mine bushed out using MH. Next grow will be pure HPS lighting. Hoping to get some heavy top colas.

I am doing something similar. Huge root systems. The plants took longer to start budding though, hopefully it pays off. 3 Weeks left.
