Good Organic soiless Mix and Nutes...

I have some serious good seeds from Attitude to start growing and I want to go all Organic and hope to grow some beast plants...
I have grown twice before in soil using walmart nutes, but have never grown organic, and would like to grow soiless...
Can anyone recommend a good soiless mix and/or some organic nutrients and additives...
I was thinking of coconut husk, but I don't know if I should use a mix or just one kind of medium...
I would love any help, and will def give a +1 for and advise.

I find a simple soil mix to work for me well. Look at subcools supper soil. Its a good mix and a good process.

^^^^^^^ theres your answer.but if you cant wait for the time it takes to cook, i might suggest roots organics soil and botanicare pure blend grow and bloom. all organic food costs $13.00/ pint at my local store, its pretty good stuff to gtrow with! good luck.................

Well he would want to get the roots organics soil-less mix not the potting soil.

Alot of people Have seemed to go to some kind of Co Coir fiber, with some kind of nute line. Like Canna Coco A+B formula.

Fox Farms Trio is organic and works well.

Nope, FF trio is not organic. Organic npk ratios are low, those are high as shit.

Oh, my bad, I thought the "trio" was the beastie bloom, cha ching, open seasme, thing....... but when they say "organic based" it's not actually organic. From those three it really only says that the big bloom is organic. I know tiger bloom is full of EDTA and shit

"Organic based" does not mean 100% organic. A marketing ploy by the company to sell more products to people who seek organics.

To the OP, Soiless mixes are great and lie somewhere between dirt and hydroponics. The advantage of a soiless mix over a dirt mix is its porosity. Which creates a well drained, airy and light medium. I personally use promix or sunshine mix and amend this with mushroom compost and worm castings. This is my base. From here there are many routes one can take. Hope this was helpful.

Thnks everyone, I have looked up subcools mix, and def don't have the time or the space/want to make it lol.
I'm gona check out some of the things listed, I have looked into Fox Farms alot, but would like to have some opinions of something before I use it...

I have made the switch from pure coco to a mixture of coco and Roots Organics Cocofiber Hydroponic mix. Contains worm castings, guano, sea kelp, greensand, leonardite, perlite, and vermiculite. Too much perlite/vermiculite for my tastes, which is why I cut it with a little extra pure coco.

Best soiless mix available on the market I'm aware of. Promix Peat moss based media can be a little more temperamental with pH, and the increased CEC of coco allows for accelerated growth rates. Mimic a standard low potassium nutrient like Canna Coco or Botanicare CNS 17 coco/soil by using an organic line. Age Old Organics would be a good fit based on their ratios. There are others as well, going OMRI certified is a step in the right direction.

Personally, I'm looking into building a vortex compost tea brewer so I can make my own nutrients and stay true to organics.

There are a lot of Tea concentrates available, even Advanced nutrients carries an organic tea concentrate.

Bio Canna is another option if you have the funds. Rhizotonic is worth its weight in gold IMO, but you don't need the bioboost accelerator. Roots Organics has their line also but I'm still working out how quality it is or isn't. I know Chemdawg utilizes a soiless mixture in combination with Earth Juice.

You have a lot of options. Just a matter of picking one now.

I just switched from roots organic to "just right Xtra" made by Nickel City Wholesale Garden Supply and I'm never going back to roots. You can safely put seeds straight into it with no problem, it's a coco coir base comes pre-inoculated with subculture B and subculture M for beneficial bacteria. Great stable organic media, for nutes I switched from roots to the new General Organic Bio Thrive line which is a veganic line that doesn't require pHing of your water, also has a huge range of trace minerals! GREAT STUFF!!! I would recommend this combo for anyone who wants amazing organic plants that take much less effort. Hope that helps

This is pretty much what I use to grow organic [tomatoes] and stuff. Earth Juice is great for teas, and it can be used raw for convenience but you need to have plenty of dolomite limestone, ground up egg shell, etc. The Peruvian seabird guano can really help balance out the pH of teas, as it will bring the pH up.
I also use Espoma Bio-tone Starter Plus during transplants which has coco meal, alfalfa meal, poultry manure, sulfate of potash greensand, etc. This is much less hassle than seeking out, purchasing and mixing all of these ingredients myself.



Most of that stuff is used for tea brewing also.
