I don’t have a budget as I am looking to find the best light which has the appropriate spectrum and allows me to grow dense bud with lots and lots of frost which high quality.
build a samsung panel or buy one from one of the advertisers here. im in the uk and have a tonne of led from HLG. ive also got a budmaster god 9, which is made in the uk and is good but its 12 million times too expensive
I’ve heard a lot of good things about HLG. Icant tell the difference between the 550 and the 600. I’m not to great with dog electricals so would need a some already made. How would I go about this
What about the 600? I don’t get the difference? I need to find a way to source this in UK. If I can’t get this what’s the next best thing
The 600 is a smaller heatsink so more of a hotspot in the middle I have to run mine as high in the tent as possible the 550 should be able to run closer to the canopy.
So the 550 is the best? Or better?
There isnt really a better just depends how you grow. In the 600 tent I top all the plants in the middle so they stay short an the sides grow taller. In the other tent I have the boards spread out so I have an even canopy.
I was going to experiment with growing, let them grow natural, may top them may do a scrog etc
In that case 2 300w lights would be your best bet

Ahh so your saying to get 2x 300 hgl as opposed to 1x 550 hgl
I'm not familiar with all the options in the UK, but even the somewhat overpriced Optic 8 you were looking at earlier would be far, far, FAR better than two p600s.
I’m not going to rush around but I have been reading a plaTinum thread on RIU and it has put me off plaTinum but more into looking at advanced led diamond series, migro 600, back to the optic led and hlg
Platinum, Advanced, Kind, Viparspectra, Roleadro, Mars Hydro, Black Dog... They're all a waste of your money, man. Most of the people here will tell you the same thing, and not because we're snobs, but because we don't want to see a fellow grower get ripped off.
Ok From the reviews and videos and test on YouTube they seem good. It’s so misleading.
