After 2 days I have 26of27 seeds that broke the surface of soil. My last post was kind of negative and I am happy to report some good news. I have a 6 pack of True OG from Elemental seeds along with 3 freebies(5th element, Trueberry, and Gummy Bears), they have all germinated in 2 days... RareD I have StarKiller 11of12 in 2 days and I expect the last one to pop tomorrow! I had a free 6pk of Ghost of LeeRoy, All have germinated in under 2 days. It was the fastest one and I think that they ALL broke soil in 36hrs!
I lost my camera! I was going to post pics of a few things.

Nice... ive been looking at elemental seeds grizzly kush but what is the abba zabba lol?

Good to hear about the germination rates.
I am not sure exactly what the cross of Abba Zabba is... I have some of their first testers True OG x Abba Zabba one of them is almost finished. It is lookin real good but it doesn't have that lemony smell I was hoping for. More of a fruity golf ball of joy.

I think that all of my seeds are indica dom. I am not sure but I have heard that 5th element is sativa dom, am I right? I still have 5 phenos of jillybean females that are in 4th week of flower and it is going to be my only sativa in the mix, unless 5th element fits the bill... I am getting way too stoned in the mornings lol!!!

Update: I have 100% a germination rate now. The last starkiller pushed up a lump of soil, I moved it and saw a seed with a healthy taproot pushing through! I planted them Saturday morning at 5am.

I dont know why my last batch was so horrible!!! I had 100% rates before and after my last batch. I did not change anything either. Same bag of LightWarrior even!?!

I'm trying to germ some gage green seeds right now only 1/5 have broken surface, my headband haze and one bag seed have both popped surface right next to them in same time. Sometimes it happens that's the gamble with seeds.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Simon from Serious seeds use a batch# on thier seed packs? That sounds like someone who cares about customers and quality!!! I think that will be the new standard one day!!!

I agree, batch numbers would lead to greater quality control in my opinion. But it might also lead to smaller batches being created--you wouldn't want your seeds to sit.

You know, I thought the 5th element was a sativa too but it seems they were promoting the site "puresativa" in the same post as the 5th element buds. I am confused but the buds look huge on it.

How did that fifth element turn out (sorry for digging up an old thread)
Its cool because I just finished them. I think that 5th element is my favorite that I got from Elemental. I chopped at week 8 and I am sure that it was kind of early, but 5th was the first to be harvested because it was the most mature... I was over-run by several seed packs and it was getting crazy with all the different things going on. I will probably have a better idea in another 8 weeks. I am going to take them to 10 this time and I have clones on wk#2.
I got a bushy plant that needed support. It smelled like sour breath and tasted like OG. It did produce well and had nice tric coverage. It was well developed at wk#8 but I really want to give it another try. It was def not a sativa! Not by my books anyways. It felt like it would paralyze your thoughts making it hard to do anything but stare.

I have some 5th Element curing up.

First, it is not a pure Sativa. I don't know how this rumor started but it's an Indica dominant hybrid.

My freebie of it was completely odorless all through flower but is developing a faint sweet/sour smell to it during cure. I took it to 10 weeks, an 8 week harvest would have caused me to miss out on A LOT of growth.

It's a very heavy yielder that produces very thick, dense buds with very respectable trichome production. It needed support due to its vine like structure that couldn't deal with the weight it was putting on. That's one aspect I did like about it though, very dense bud structure across the entire plant.

I'll be able to smoke on it in a week or two and can post some bud shots when I get home if you're interested.

I would like to see so that I could compare. It sounds like you did a better job of growing it! Our descriptions sound about the same.

No problem, I'm at work right now but I'll get some pictures posted when I get home in a few hours.

Was yours odorless in flower as well, Mustang? It tripped me out that mine had absolutely no smell in flower. I've grown low odor plants but this one was absolutely no odor until it got jarred up.

I ended up with 2 of 6 True OG. They seemed to be low odor along with my GummyBears. My 5th element started to smell around week3. My TrueBerry had the loudest smell, but it was black licorice flavor and it really turned me off to it.
5th really had a sour thing going. The best way that I can describe it is old man morning breath after a cup of coffee... I dont know how many old men have yelled in your face??? I was in an infantry unit lol!
