Hey guys itss been a really long time since I've posted.
But im not a seasoned grower and i thought i was doing all right. Until a coworker, someone i trust very much. Told me my plants were in flower and thats why my clones werent taking.
I currently have 2 white widow grown from seed, they've been under 4, 3 foot T5Ho veg lights. I was told to do a feed, feed, water week. So monday would be a feed day, thursday would be a feed day, and saturday would be my water day.my nutrient is at full stregth for the last 6 weeks or so. It was staight water till the plants were about a 10" and i started with a diluted mix. I have never cloned before and want to start a perpetual grow. And i cant recall if my white widow seeds did this before ( though i think they did.) Im also using a HP Promix. What the hell could have caused this? Theres been some power outages but nothing that last more than 4-6 hours. And only 2 or 3 times. I posted this else where about 12 hours ago and nèd some answers so, i am sorry for any inconvenience

Sooo, if those are auto seeds
They will flower on their own without a light change.

You didn't mention your current schedule but that didn't happen from a few extra hours dark.

If those are photo period type seeds
The clones will take and will reveg
Under an 18/6 light schedule or 24/0
Not what you were shooting for but eventually they will be fully vegging plants again.

If those are auto flowering type it gets confusing for me because I have never done autos.

But recently I read somewhere that someone had revegged an autoflower
And after that it began to react like a photo period. Prior to that I thought autos were only capable of going into flower and that's it.
Now im not sure

Im gonna just watch this thread though because im super curious what happened here and what happens going forward
Good luck

Sorry dude, i did forget that. Ive left the lights on for 24 hours a day. For the last 2 months... i super confused. They arent auto flower.

Well that plant is in full bloom. So if it is under more than about 16 hrs of light per day it is an auto.

The clones all have pistils. So they would have to reveg before growing again. It takes a while and new weird single leaves will emerge when it starts.

However if an auto flower the clones will just continue the flowering cycle. They will not re veg.

I have ordered fem seeds that turned out male, so if the reason your sure is because the seed company said so,
Mistakes happen.

but there isnt any seed pods on the plant at all.... and i grew this strain with two others and neither of those has seeds either. Thats my confusion i was under the impression that the white hairs came as a preflower.

I dont understand, you mean if i give it more than 18 hours of light that the light will turn them to flower like 12/12?

Why are we talking about seed pods.
You have lost me

You are way passed pre flower,
You are flowering.
Those calyx (seed pods) will swell and the hairs will retract and eventually you will recognize them.
They are there.

Oh... i mentioned seed pods because i was told you would see two little nuts on the under side of the nodes. Thats how i would recognize the male or female status. So these are male plants is the just of what youre saying.

No
These are female plants and they are in full flowering mode.

I honestly think you grew auto flower seeds somehow.
Especially since you say you are on a 24/o schedule and they flowered on their own

No. Photoperiod plants should stay in veg with 18 hrs light. But autoflower genetics will flower when the plant gets mature under any light cycle. Average 3-4 weeks vegetative growth I think then auto bloom.

As for how to proceed?
I would just stay the course with the big plant. Im not sure if 24/0 or 18/6
Is best for autos so ill let someone else answer.

As for the clones.
If I were you I would just get some new seed stock or proven clones and start over.
I myself would experiment with them
And start some fresh seeds or clones.

You may not have that luxury or be so inclined

I'm currently running an auto downstairs along with a photo in DWC buckets. I had them both on 20/4 during veg and after the auto started to flower. After 4-5 weeks of veg I flipped to 12/12 to initiate flower on the photo. Based on the growth and bud production, I don't think that it has affected the auto at all. I would continue on with the longer light cycle, at least 18 on and continue. Although some have had success with 24 hr cycles, I think that at least a few hours of dark is essential for good growth .

All my mother plants go to flower under 24 hours of light. They aren't supposed to be autoflower but it seems a lot of strains seem to be anyway. I waited 3 months after going 24 hr lights for them to revert to veg and they won't do it. I cloned them anyway and the clones took right off and reverted to veg much faster than I thought they would. It's just the nature of the beast.

Rockwool is kinda tricky to work with. I used to soak them in ph neutral water before use and then be very careful not to over-water them.. The Clone King is so much easier.

So i came to the conclusion that they are infact autoflower seeds. I bought some this summer, and must have mixed up my seed packs and planted the wrong ones outside. My wife reminded me that i bought them and this was the final conclusion. I appreciate all who posted and helped. I plan on doing a grow journal in the near future, for all who have helped much thanks.
