They are just trolling you mainliner for asking all these stupid questions instead of searching the forums or learning the basics first.

Assholes...:finger: so let me help you out buddy (:

Yes, you can change it to 24 hour after 12/12. Just wait till it has a lot of pistils (week 4 or 5) but do it before it starts swelling up the calyxes. The extra light will result in a lot of extra energy because of the longer photosynthesis period, which in turn will increase the bud size significantly. Many many pro growers do this. Good luck man and don't let the trolls get to you :peace:

OP if you take a plant that you already harvested but you leave a few little buds on it and return it to 24/0 or 18/6 it will begin vegetating again, the leaves it makes will look funky at first but then it will make the distinct fan leaves we all known cannabis has. But really the key information here is "and return it to 24/0 or 18/6 it will begin vegetating again."

If u wanna start re-vegging half way through feel free to try it, I would love to see how funky the plant looks for a bit before becoming a vegetating plant again

What he said. There are plenty of people out there that say you can take a cutting from a flowering plant and root it. It goes back to veg, but goes all gnarly, and grows like a 100 shoots. It's the same thing technically as to sending a flowering plant back to veg, but you do risk stress, and unless you plan on veging again for an extended period, I don't see the reason to do this.

So the answer for op is… don't do that.

Is the 18/6 schedule used just to save electricity compared with 24/0?
Is there any reason to be doing 18/6 over 24/0 from the perspective of the plant, assuming that electricity is not a limiting factor?
