Excited to grow these strains boys.

Day 1 March 31st

Clones Moved into 750w setting - M/H - 18/6 Veg Lighting Schedule

Skywalker OG

King Louie

Unknown Test Strain ???

Grown in 50/50 coco mix n soil

New Nutes Being Used

Terpinator - terpene and essential oil production

Also i will be running a test with VooDoo Juice against a new Rooting agent called Heavy. It was a bit pricey but i had a little extra money left on the budget so i thought....why not..so this will be interesting since VooDoo Juice is one of the top Rooting Nutrient on the market, at least to my knowledge.

still need a good base for flower im open for suggestions on that.

Mystery Clones Taken March 31.jpg
Cut three clones using Clone-Ex Gel, soaked rock wool for 20 min in 1 gallon of water with 10 ml of Liquid Karma +10ml CalMag plus 2 drops of SuperThrive Ph'd down to 6.0

Lighting - T5 - 24hours. 8'' clearance from top of Humidity dome to T5 light.

Im new to cloning and plan to tryout Heavy Rooting agent, and VooDoo Juice instead of Karma to see what works better.

So i finally got my 4x4 LP tray and plan on installing it later, need to plumb lines from the tray to my RES tank. I wanna use a 40 gallon rubbermaid as my res and have it located just outside the tent for easy access for ph check and Res changes. Im also going to be plumbing in a drip or irrigation system run on timers.

as always ill post pics of the layout when im done later today. stay lit, stay safe.

Got my tray installed.. some modifications were required tho haha.
Tray measured 49'' and my tent was 48'' from OUTSIDE corner to corner... as soon as i got it in and it settled sideways resting on the tent...i knew this wasn't right...but i dont see problems, only solutions bongsmilie. so i bought a dremel kit which was badass... 29$ for over a 100piece set cant beat that, and it had everything i needed to get er done.:fire:
the notches i plan on cutting pvc pipes in half and fabricating them in as best i can. which is no problem.

Alright so on to the clone update. As you guys know im currently growing King Louie, Skywalker OG, and some Mystery Strain i can't seem to put my finger on. All clones have been fed regular PH'd down water 6.5, 200ppm CalMagPlus, and a very small dose of BudKarma by botanicare and Pro Veg also by botanicare which brought it to 545ppm. I have been looking for a great scrog candidate and i may have just found it. Let me know what you guys think.

So today i was checking my tent and as soon as i opened it the light turned off. Ballast seems to be overheating even with a huge fan on it. So i got one of two options.
1. Run it on 750w setting and hope it doesn't overheat again...(unlikely since its getting hotter by the day)
2. Change the settings on my timer when i go to 12/12 so that the light is running during the more cooler hours of the day.

Now my question is if i go from my regular time of lights 7am ON and change it to 7pm ON during the transition from Veg to Flower, will this stress my plants out in any way?... should i keep them in darkness for a day before the light change?... What have you guys experienced with this type of situation?...

changing them like that shouldn't do anything that would cause worry as long as you did it within the course of a day and stayed consistent

So this is what the light hours are gonna look like during the transition
18 Hours Light - ON - 7am - 1am
17 hours Light OFF - 1am - 6pm
12/12 from 6pm to 6am
Do u think this would work?...sorry for emphasizing this subject so much i just dont like to gamble.

why dont you just switch it straight to 12/12 at the time you want after veg lights out. You wont stress the plant if thats what your worried about

it doesnt seem like it would, atleast not to the point of herming on me. i think thats what ill do, the extra hours in between the transition shouldnt faze the plant much if any. thanks

Been giving them 500-600ppm nute feedings with regular ph'd down water in between each.
They seem to be responding very well to the feedings and are noticeably drinking more.
gonna be transplanting them into 5gal buckets soon :hump:

Spider mites... good thing it was only one plant i checked them all but sprayed them with Bayer bug/mildew solution, generously. i hate spider mites never really had an issue with them but heard stories. any advice folks??? they could possibly be from outside as i leave them out in the sun during the daytime. (saving money ;))Spider Mite Damage.jpg

thou shall known that only fouls put them outside and back in tent and asking why there spider mite on my leaves..... loooool man really never , ever again do that!!!!! you can put indoor plant outdoors but not outdoor plant in indoor because you can bring a lot of pest inside your garden , i've made that mistake... i've taken a year and a cleaning of the house intregrally 'YES INTEGRAL!!!!! watch them closely those bastard are a real pain in the ass to get rid of , and bayer product are not really what i would put , i suggest you try "azaprot", "pireprot" and "cinnaprot" those are bio and the last one you can use it till 2 week before harvest , they work really fine in combo in case you are greatly invaded but for prevention cinnaprot do the job alone

It was just one plant and i havent seen em since, i understand taking plants outdoors and bringing them in isnt a good idea. I dont have a choice right now. i got them just in time i think, sprayed them hard havent seen em since. I personally think the mites came from the foxfarm ocean forrest that i had purchased but who knows. thanks for the advice man!! appreciate it for sure.

Quick update on my grow. I decided I would put most of the plants outdoors but wanted to keep 2 of each strain to flower. and see how they react to training techniques.

1.Skywalker by far is the most uncooperative and does not take well to the training cage. Also the smallest of the 3 strains.

2. King Louie is looking good so far. great node sights and is easy to train.

3. Mystery Strain is extremely bushy and creating many node sights. i anticipate a bigger yield for this strain. The Question is...Will it compete with Skywalker OG and King Louie, the proven strains that i have grown.Picture of 3 Strain grow.jpgTraining Cage.jpg

Hey nice grow. Im thinking of a scrog in the near future too.
I have a skywalker kush a couple weeks into flower. Expect a TON of stretch. It had doubled its height since the flip to 12/12.
Shows no sign of slowing down either. I just started a thread and the skywalker is in there. https://www.rollitup.org/t/13-strain-grow-hps-t-8-cfl.825273/
The cheese, skywalker, flowerbomb, and sour secret are all the exact same age. See the difference.
