getting rid of mites in flower

For mites in flower room I use a two prong (chemical and organic) attack. I have used this method numerous times with great success. First and plants with webbing I destroy. Remove plants from grow room. Put on gloves and mask wash every surface in room with malathion ( strong pesticide) do not put on plants. Then as I am putting plants back in room. I spray them down thoroughly with white vinegar water ( 1 cup per gallon) then I turn lights to 50% for 1 light cycle. After 4 days respray with vinegar solution and turn down lights for 1 cycle. Last step I wash room again with soap and water and spray down plants with water. This is a good use of chemical and organics in tandem for mites in flowering mj.

Does the white vinegar solution work well to kill mites and eggs? Do you do a rinse with water after say 5 hours?

Cleaning the room - you can also use bleach solution or orange oil.

What happens is the white vinegar forces the mites out of plant and onto the walls and stuff that have the pesticide on it.

If you've had to used it many times, then I would question how well it works? Sounds as if you're controlling them not eradicating then.

Been growing awhile used It 4 times in 8yrs. Just used it this run as I stupidly took 2 plants from someone else.

REALLY? I was told it didn't work.

If you got CO2, bag up your plants, or seal the room completely pump it up to 2000ppm, for a minute,two or five. More better to suffocate those mites completely. I'm not sure if it was 2000 ppm or higher. I could never get rid off all of them completely using insecticides or sprays. Or use mite predatory but get heaps of them, and flood your plants with those bugs.

And I've been growing 20 yrs. indoor and 40 yrs. outdoors, and in those 20 yrs. of indoor I've had mites' twice.
Adult mites' can only live 3-5 days without a host, eggs for years until the right condition happens then they hatch. Good cleaning habits are a must for eradication and control.

I never use anything to get rid of them, I just drop the temps. High temps is why they are there in the 1st place. Make it too cold for their eggs to hatch and they die. Simple as that! Takes about 3 days

Using cold temps Is what will make eggs go dormant and hatch up to 2 yrs later.

Then use cooler temps for more than 2 years. I get zero bugs running at 24oc-25oc, go above 27oc-28oc and you're almost asking for them.

Keeping clean doesnt always prevent them. Anytime ive gotten then has been from clones or other plants being brought in.in order for eggs to go dormant temps have to drop. This is why I keep temps normal and do 2nd application a few days later as eggs hatch in 3-5 days normally.

Thats 77 degrees I always run cooler then that my temps never go above 74f and never below 65f

Wierd then, mind you, I live in the UK. We do get bugs over here. That's how I deal with British wildlife in my tents

If i jack the temps up to 28oc, within 3-4 days I'll have little flies. Eggs are already in the soil when you buy the stuff.

Good look with your efforts getting rid of them.

Do you do apply hydrogen peroxide in a foliar under the leaf spray, similar to how neem is applied ?

Is it really worth it to bring infected clones into you're garden? That's the first lesson I learned after my first bout with them.

Well first was def my fault as I randomly took clones from someone, next to times were dispensaries clones, this time a friend had to shutdown midflower and I took the two plants that I gave him the seeds for. (RedGum from Jamaica). I did put them in my quarentine room so it wasnt too bad but yep nothing from anyone else in my room ever again

What are heavy doses? Do you use a 1 gallon sprayer? What is the mix? Just hydrogen peroxide?

I love hydrogen peroxide for many uses. Does it kill spider mites as well as the eggs? Thanks.
