don't care how old is post you are wrong the reason a dog get high from blowing it is here is because they do not have eardrums in the smoke goes directly to their brain and THC receptors.
You failed biology didn't you.
Of course dogs have eardrums, how else could their brain stay in their head ?

LMAO. Eardrums keeping the brain in.. classic.

The brain connects by nerve fibers (vestibular nerve) that attach to the semicircular canals. The brain is nowhere near ear canal, ear drum, or the drain tube (eustacian tube)

Dumbasses.

Just chuckin in my tuppence before the ususal RIU arguments.
I use to have a burmese cat who LOVED to toke. If I was toking, he would walk up, shut his eyes (he didn't like smoke in his eyes) and point his face up. That was my cue to give him a blow-back. About 6 good lung-fulls and he would go and lie down for a few hours.
The problem was that he didn't know the difference between a joint and a cigarette and it was difficult to explain to visitors who smoked why my cat was harrassing them every time they sparked up! He once even burnt his nose on my (then) partners fathers cigarette!

dry ice kief, first shake the good stuff.
He didn't wake up 4 14 hours couldn't walk eyes was a spinning.
once again thc have to be heated to be effective. If we could consume raw or unheated product it would get us high we'd all do it. thats why all edible recipes require butter/oils and heat.

Speaking with CBS 4 in Denver, veterinarian Dr. Debbie Van Pelt said that she has seen “huge spikes in the frequency of marijuana ingestion [among pets] in places where it’s become legal.” Seventeen states across the U.S. have approved the regulated use of medical marijuana, although few states have embraced the trend as much Colorado; by one count Denver has more marijuana dispensaries than it does Starbucks.

In many instances the dogs appear to have eaten their owner’s stash. The affects are far from pleasant for the animals, who start to stagger and vomit and can even lapse into a coma. According to Dr. Pelt: “They basically [lose] a lot of their fine motor control, they have a wide-based stance and they are not sure on their feet.”

trichomes need to be combusted for thc to become active. Or cooked in an oil that will bond with thc, like butter. thats why people dont eat hash. they cook it. hash is tric's right? your dog may have been allergic or having a seizure?
