its mans best friend of course you gotta get'em high sometime! too me, you will be able to tell if they like it or not.. they can smell the grass in a cookie so they would know the next time not to eat it.. but nah i dont agree with forcing like grabing your dogs head and makeing him take down a hit lol

Of course I'd be lying if I said I've never gotten an animal high before.

I remember I caught this ground squirrel once when I was 16. I put it into a 10 gallon aquarium with one of those glass lids, and would lift the lid of the aquarium and blow hits in there. I probably did that like three or four times before I let it go a few hours later. I thought it was hilarious at the time.

Now when I reflect on it it seems a little fucked up. But like I said, who am to say if he enjoyed it or not? I just know that now I would never do anything like that.

my old dog was sick and passing away and she wasnt eating so i would sit down and cheif next to her and make her a little tiny fire cracker. but when i think about it i should have just gotten her stoned how could she not enjoy it she was dieing and feelin shitty.. even if she woulda passed away high as hell it wouldof been better than taking her to the vet to get uthinized

The dog before the one I have now was a rottweiler. He used to strugglelike crazy, even when I and two friends tried to pin him down he'd still manage to escape before getting a hit.

The dog I have now doesn't like it either, i think it's because he's a boxer and he needs his nose.
Dude! !i have a rottie and she will not take a hit. She hates the stuff.

My old Rotty liked it and would ask for it.
One of his toys was a piece of washer drain hose (one of the few toys he couldnt destroy in a week).
One time we were having a tug a war with the drain hose and I could hear him breathing through it. I took a hit and blew it in the hose.
After a few times over a week he would expect me to blow hits in the tube.
He would bring it to me 2 minuets after I woke up some mornings.

One of my friends has a cat who we call Skinny. He's a huge fat cat, probably 35-40 pounds. And whenever we light up he will lay belly up on the lap of whoever's turn it is and lean up to try to sniff the smoke unless you blow it towards him. He goes around the circle untill he gets high enough then just lays on the bed and chills with us. Usually after about 30 minutes he goes and eats a shit ton haha. Definitely a stoners best friend.

without my friend seeing his mid sized dog go into
the kitchen and get into the big pan of cooling pot
brownies, the dog ate half of the big pan of pot brownies
and the dog ended up on his side for 3 days panting with
tongue sticking out so my friend had to continuously give
his dog water manually(by hand) for those 3 days

My dogs have gotten into magic cookies on one or more occassions. I would never intentionally get my dogs high however, who knows if they like it or if it's a nightmare for them

You really dont wanna get your dog or cats high as they have elevated heart rythms and you can cause basically a heart attack or stroke .Especially a chiawowwwaaaa. They have a heart rate that is faster then you or I after a run.Dogs can get high from blowing smoke in thier ears as they are similar to elephants as they dont have sweat glands and regualate body temperature through their ears as they use them to release heat or to hold back and stay warm. Some people do it and their pets live I have seen them die and for me my pets life is worrth more then my amusment so Id advise against it also its a felony animal abuse charge if caught or turned in...sincerley FilthyFletch
on top of that, cats and dogs have really small livers, which means their ability to get rid of substances in their bloodstream/system is nothing compared to ours. not until any research is done, i don't think its safe to get your pets high.

if it were for my amusement that would make me an asshole. me kitty scratches on the door. she climbs up my lap. i'd literally have to push her away. marijuana does NOT kill your animals.
Great! Mine too!! I was gonna start a thread asking if it's ok but not gonna bother now. I never gave it to my German Shepherd in 12 years but this cat is all over me. I keep moving him off me but he's back like a boomerang. If I go in another room he follows me. He's literally crawling up on to my chest with his face in mine. It's hard to access the joint and I know he's aiming for a blowback !! :)

These threads make my head hurt. Its very frustrating to hear people brag about intoxicating their pets like this. This is the kind of thing that makes non-mj users think that people that do are immature. This is the kind of shit right here that will keep it from being considered acceptable in main stream society. Keep it up, it only hurts your pet, and the rest of us.

Well done people! :clap::finger:.

don't care how old is post you are wrong the reason a dog get high from blowing it is here is because they do not have eardrums in the smoke goes directly to their brain and THC receptors.
