Germination issue : leaves coming out before radicle

Hey guys ,

I have some issue with OG kush seeds , i bought them from Dinafem , they are feminized .
Normally , the radicle should come first and the first pair of leaves should remain inside the seed , which will be the last part of the germination process but in my case this is it :

No radicle , but the first pair of leaves, the three seeds i bought from them did the same thing.
What is causing this ?

Thanks!

When they look like that, in my experience, there's a 70% chance they will be runts or not pull through at all.

30% of the time, they snap out of it but still take longer than normal.

Good luck, because I grew the exact same seeds you have and they all sprouted well.

Sorry!

@4(207) & Ringsixty thanks guys for the reply.

I already tried to put the 2 first seeds in the soil where they were like that , 48hrs after, they turned into a white paste , they rotted .

This one on the photo is the 3rd and last one.

I opened a ticket directly with Dinafem they send me a new 3 seeds pack as a replacement , hopefully the new ones will sprout better .

Bummer dude.
But, sounds like they are making good on the issue .

You are causing this by complicating the process, pop seeds in watered soil and dont touch for a week.

Follow the easy route, ignore all other germination techniques.

I think its the freaking OG Kush strain. I have similar problem with my OG seeds. Started with 5 seeds, all cracked open with tap roots showing, only 1 continued to grow normally, the rest just never got out from germination stage. I got mine from a different seed bank. I say that its the OG cuz I got a different strain from the same company at the same time and all 5 germinated and growing normally.

OG have been back breed for so long that we're starting to see fertility problem with this stain.

Just my opinion.
