Genetics vs Growing Environment

Was having a debate on what was the most important factor on good smoke. Is it strictly genetics, or can someone with reg seeds grow an insane batch under optimum conditions - say DWC, GH Flora series and strong LEDs.

I put this to the test recently and grew reg seeds under those conditions, and I think its all in the genetics. Whatever strains I just grew, the resins are hurtin and the high is not mind splattering.

Verdict - dont mess with bag seed unless desperate. Always seek out premium seeds, especially if you grow indoors.

It's all in genetics, but you can still grow some bad ass sensimilla reggie..

Breeders just happen to know how to select the appropriate phenotypes to create ideal genes with high THC levels.

I think both are pretty important. You can have the best genetics in the world and still grow some lame ass meds because the environment was so shitty.

I am with his 100%! Seen some people destroy good strains. Also seen shitty plants in a perfect environment from an experienced grower.

Your genetics set the limit on how good the product can be, the grower does his best to reach that limit.

how and your level of experience in growing have alot to do with it as well.
