Oh no, I used a common term instead of the proper term. The world is ending!

Next thing you're gonna tell me that the term "machine screw" is a misnomer, since it's technically a bolt. Gimme a break dude.

Btw I openly admit that my English sucks.

No, you used a phrase incorrectly. I think it was pretty well explained in the diagram. Someone with your IQ should have no trouble seeing where you went wrong.

Some say cucumbers taste better pickled.

Are we done talking about how GMO crops are not really understood by most people that are against them?

So why didn't you use that quote? What you said made no sense in that context.
Don't you want to get back to repeating bullshit you have heard about GMO crops?

Is corso stalking me now?
That is just precious.

My 2c....

I am a hippies son, we got the 'crunchiest' upbringing you could imagine. I am intuitively an organic kind of guy. I even dislike the term 'conventional'. (I think it's a politicized term that psychologically suggests modern food production is better in some undefined way.) But there's just not a lot of evidence that says 'conventional' foods are bad for you.

Now if you want to talk about ecology, ok, there is sound evidence that haphazard use of any chemical can run downstream or bioaccumulate. The industry is responding by implementing strategies like Integrated Pest Mgmt, Integrated Weed Mgmt, etc. Technology helps us to clean things up, things like better spray nozzles or better additives... But I can assure you, it's getting better.

Truth be told, we should be ranting about industrialized animal production. That industry could use some real improvement! And thats where much of our GMO plants go to anyhow!

As for the 'revolving door' between big business and government.... Well that's old hat and not unique to food production. Get used to it Lol

and you still have no idea what you are talking about. Why don't you share your "research" with us?

if u wish to believe what the government tells u fine,
I have not done that. You are confused. What is the government telling us about GMO? Where can I read it?
Again, I suggest you go back and read this thread before you spout off.

but u may wish to look at both sides before u speak as if you are some athority on the subject.
I have not spoken as if I was an authority. Go back and read. I have looked at both sides. Read the article I posted. Go read the studies about GMO.

Monsanto's products cause death. They compromise and violate life. Monsanto's GM corn grown a toxic chemical right inside each and every corn kernel. This corn is what is subsequently eaten by humans.

Rats fed this corn grew horrifying cancer tumors as shown here:

In a recent scientific study, a shocking 70 percent of female rats died prematurely when fed GMOs. Fifty percent of males died early. Almost all of them died from cancer tumors.

Read more about the link between GMOs and cancer tumors at:
http://www.naturalnews.com/037249_GMO_study_cancer_tumors_organ_damag...

Just to inform you this "published" article has been retracted by its publisher. This is due to the "bad" science that they used for this study. Example being that the specific vartiety of lab rat that was used in this study has been shown to develop tumors at an extremely high rate, thus causing bias to be form in terms of the conclusion that fed was responsible. That is why peer revision is so important, the scientific community does not support research as such. I also believe these researchers have now been fired and most likely will be published by anyone respectible journal with a decent impact factor for the foreseeable future.

Let the conspiracy people believe what they want but as someone in the field I tell you this; the science is sound it's the companies and their business practices that are the problem especially in terms of companies like monsanto. Yes, herbicide resistant crops are a feature of science, but its the use of heavy herbicides that are the problem not the science behind GMO's. Most GMO's are not even created for this purpase only the select few which are highly known and they also tend to be the highest subsidized crops (corn, soy and wheat).
