Planning on harvesting a little on the early side due to life logistics, A few of my plants will probably have to go a bit longer no matter what but some of these guys are starting to look pretty ripe. Think I could harvest a few of them in about 7-10 days? Or maybe all of them?

Just chopped and trimmed a little cola. Figure I can get some experience drying a cola before I dry my entire harvest. Also just today started a 2-4 week T-break (other than 1 tiny nug i'm drying for a few days from now). Gonna make sure this homegrow hits me hard and lasts XD

Hey i'm ditzing around with my CFL's in my grow room and I was wondering. Is it better to concentrate my light on buds or the foliage? I've been clearing out a little foliage so the CFL's reach buds better because it seems like common sense, i'm just wondering if maybe i'm wrong?

Hey so i'm really looking for some input on flushing. I soaked my plants a few days ago with a buttload of my tap water and later tonight i'm going to do a 2nd flush with distilled water. My grow mediums are still pretty soaked but I read that you want a wet medium because it dissolves the salts. My plants are still looking pretty green and I have to harvest pretty soon out of respect for the other members of the household. The place reaks XD.

But yeah. I did my flush on 7/11, medium still soaked, planning on sending distilled water through them and plucking off some of the bigger fan leaves. Does any of my plan sound bad? How important is it to have a solid flush? Have been and will continue scouring the internet for info, but you guys get to see what my plants look like and are more experienced than I so I value your opinions (: Would honestly really appreciate some input on this!

I wouldn't worry about flushing too much just give them plain water to use up whatever nutes are left in the soil. Flushing can actually stress the plants out.

I just wanted to mention that the few seeds that you said showed up (in the bagseed lady) will most likely turn out hermie. If the bud is good and you aren't worried about future plants becoming pollinated, then the seeds could be useful, but they will almost certainly hermie on you again. They should also not be used for breeding or anything unless you want unstable genetics.
That being said, very nice grow. Frosty big nugs with limited light resources; you definitely have lots of potential. I hope the smoke is great for you!

Thank you both for your input very much! Its week 9 and i'm gonna be chopping all but 1 plant tonight, I'ts probably a little early to chop any of my plants but as I said before I wanna get this grow finished, I feel like I could confidently increase my yield by 50-100% using the same exact setup and the house reaks XD. The one plant i'm not chopping is by far my biggest, but also by far the least done; it would just be a crime to chop tonight. I probably won't be able to start the next round for 2-3 months because of travel plans, but i'm sure i'll be picking up some new seeds during those travels. The plants I have growing right now are 2 bag seeds which did not herm, and 6 frosty ass random genetics from Colorado that popped a few sacs for the first two weeks or so of flower, but I havent seen a nanner or a sac since, and I have been checking thoroughly. Maybe i'll pop a seed or two from this grow each grow and see what happens, i'm expecting messy genetics from them but nature can be funny. Anybody have any sweet drying/curing tips? I was strongly considering picking up a bunch of those 62% humidity packs to throw in the jars while curing, anybody have any experience with those?

Also. I only started using cannabis about 11 months ago, so I get to harvest within a year of my first toke (: Simply found it to be incredible medication and incredibly interesting. On day 9 of my first T-break, only 5 days to go. I decided I wanted to really enjoy my product rather than just blow through it (:

I'll make sure to get some pics of the ladies up before I chop. Again i'm sure most could use another week or two but I wanna finish this one up

Heard this poem the other day and i loved it:

There once was a man who smoked wax
He decided to toke to the max
So he lit up his torch
All the wax, he did scorch
And then all he could do was relax

The end

I was looking into those humidity packs as well, lemme know if you do end up using them and how it goes.

I'm looking forward to seeing your finished ladies, hopefully you'll get nice and stony with your fresh homemade herb after your t-break. :eyesmoke:

when you chop early it usually tastes better and gives you more of the head high, just weaker and not to its full potential but it will still be good
