if reverting back to veg you will have to veg for at least a month. they will start growing juvenile leaves. 1 finger and 3 finger leaves. Once it starts growing normal leaves again it will be ready to go into flower. It looks good and happy anyway. good job.

happy growing
sup hyroot? Was thinking the same about a month veg. Thanks for the positive words :peace:

An old friend of my bro and sis stopped by the house today....they gifted me with a nug of Cotton Candy. It smelled so wonderful :weed:. The taste was just as flavorful as it was aromatic. Was floral / perfume-like, almost didn't smell like weed and a little went a long ways in a good high. Just my luck, found two seeds inside :). I did some googling and could only find Cotton Candy strain by Delicious seeds, and the description matched, so I'm guessing that it is a good chance they're the breeder. Decided to germ them and see what happens. Won't be any loss since I got the seeds free anyway.

Here's what seedfinder had to say about Cotton Candy:

http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Cotton_Candy/Delicious_Seeds/

Am also germing a fem Sativa Seedbank's Raspberry Cough:

http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Raspberry_Cough/Sativa_Seedbank/

My goal now is to find a good mother (or two) to make a perpetual SoG of single cola dominant plants. I read about DrBudGreenGenes on Icmag's forum a while back and always wanted to try a micro SoG after seeing his amazingly dialed in grows. I'm pretty sure I can temporarily rig a cardboard box up to house a mother and clones, and upgrade to something more permanent later.

Oh, and I'm becoming more and more fascinated with LEDs...I want to possibly learn how to create my own fixtures and practice by making mini panels as supplemental lighting for the cab. This box could turn out to be quite the little experiment :D

Wait, I'm confused...a pure female strain? I have never heard of that in my life lol. Links?

If you have legit fem seeds, the plants will be fem or hermie, but never full male. If it turns into a full blown male, it wasn't a fem seed.
when i said pure female strain i meant that i tested it and it has only female genetics , no intersex or hermie traits.

Have had the two male Ramrellas sitting in a trash bag for the past two days trying to decide what to do with them. I've been wanting to get into composting for the longest, so I did some research on what it would take to get an indoor composting setup going. After a lot of reading, I took a 5 gallon bucket from the garage and converted it into a DIY composting bin. Makes me feel so much better knowing that I didn't really grow the plants for nothing because they will be feeding future ladies and make my soil mixes that much better :). Also will not have to worry about what to do with old potting mix and dead leaves!

Raspberry Cough is already showing a root tip less than 24 hours after being put in a paper towel. Planting her tonight and working on the clone / mother box a bit!

Nice compost bin. Making your own is always better quality than store bought.

Look into making a worm bin and get some red wigglers and a 20 gal Rubbermaid. Worms like canna leaves too.

hi ganja queen :-) I have been following your grow sorry the others were not flower types.I'm doing stealth grow also starting flower next week I almost did full seed to harvest grow recently but my roomies got all paranoid last minute and I chopped it all down to relieve there issues I was bummed out big time but I have resolve of steel and am going at it again with stealth and a deeper knowledge :-) your stealth style is really similar to mine I found furniture customized it also except I have little more height on mine so I chose the FIM method over LST I just did it tonight hope I did it right lol oh also I'm chick grower too :-) happy to see that there are a few fem growers out there makes sense really welp can't wait to see your lady full boom. Hey purp :) I appreciate your condolences. If you end up doing a grow journal be sure to let me know. I love seeing other stealth grows and especially other female growers. Thanks for the love girl, Namaste to you as well :)

Frankenplant (Critical Jack Herer) hit the start of week 2 of flowering today so thought I'd post some pics. She got a nice feeding today to help out with the deficiencies. That's one of risks growing a strain you don't know anything about in a soil that you've never used before I suppose. Know things will work out as I dial in the grow so I'm not too worried about it. Cotton Candy and Raspberry cough's tap roots are now in solo cups in a FFOF mix cut with lots of perlite. Can't wait to get clones started.

Cotton Candy is germed and above soil, nice and comfy in her (hopefully :p) temporary home:

Going to pick up some of those car visors lined in mylar soon to line the inside with. Raspberry Cough never made it beyond taproot. I had the soil pretty moist but thinking it might have just been a dud seed. I'm thinking about throwing down some 100% Indica genetics (feminized) in a paper towel for a mother instead.

Did LST on CJH, looking like I might get a decent amount of tops.

Just read the whole thing. Good stuff! A fellow stealth micro grower knows to appreciate kick ass DIY skills. :)

Those LED bulbs look interesting. I'm growing in small spaces and summer is extremely hot here so I'm looking for ways to reduce temps. A few questions about them if you don't mind. How do you like them so far? How far from the plants do you keep them? I've seen LED grows with plants bleaching because the panels were too close to them. I guess it's not the case with these bulbs as they seem pretty close to your plants. and finally, where did you get them bulbs and how much $ are they?

Sup Avrum?

-I am liking the bulbs a lot so far and definitely prefer them over CFLs.
-They are kept just an inch or two from the plants.
-Believe bleaching only happens from red / purple leds?? Not sure, but I've read in other places that the Cree household LEDs do not bleach.
-I got the bulbs from Home Depot and they were roughly $6-7 each. Not sure of price exactly, I be high yo :joint:

blue region bleaches the most. it has the most photons. Red 660 can definitely bleach though and so can IR. the globes have 20 1 watt leds. driven to less than half a watt. so they stay farely cool. if you take the glass off they can light bleach. if you have enough of them.

with the one you have over the seedling you should put in a clamp light reflector. since the leds are on the sides , you will get better par numbers that way too about 450 µmole's with a reflector. no wasted light

I'm loving your grow Queen. Really cool to see what can be done with those LEDs. I'm certainly interested in yield once you get there.

Been a little bit since an update so posting a quick one.

Critical Jack Herer is in the middle of the 3rd week of flowering and is doing alright:

The Cotton Candy seedling is growing well and ended up experimenting with a clone from a branch of the CJH that wasn't developing as fast as the others. Will be cloning the cotton candy in a week or so and flowering it asap. Keeping fingers crossed that it's a female but dropping a fem seed tonight just in case it's not.

And I'm having an awesome Holiday because a good friend was so kind to look out for me once again :weed:
