Hi Im considering buying a g8 led 900 to put in my veg tent. Does anyone here have any experience using these lights? I'm currently using 1000w HID's for veg and flower but I would like to try and save some electricity during the veg phase. My veg tent is 5x5x6.6 . Any input would be appreciated simply because there is so much contradicting info on these lights on the Web.

The hype sounds good but is lies.. this light pulls 540 watts.. no way is it equivalent to 1400 watt mh.. more like 600..
It will not perform near as well as your 1000 watt.. you need to check out cob led technology.. for what a g8 costs
you can build your own DIY light or have one of our sponsors build a custom light for you.. it would be a much wiser purchase decision...
