G13 Pineapple Express...

I dare say I'm not the first to review this beauty, but I couldn't see one about, so here we go o_O

Not the largest of nugs I've ever had, but I still pulled off just over 4 ounces and a few grams of oil :hump: Quite pleased about that as I had heard she wasn't the greatest of yielder ..which may be the case given the size of the buds.

In a 10 gall/45litre pot of organic made soil, the soil going through it's second run (after amending) with a two month veg.
An absolute walk in the park as far as growing is concerned; but you better be sitting down in the park when you're concerned with smoking!
Tasty, tasty smoke...pineapple is right! Leave the bag open and the room is filled with those citrus odors mmmm :weed: Then burn it and taste the same but with a nice hashish hint to it...oh wait! gotta go smoke a bit more now :bigjoint:
The high is a nice solid indica, but without so much of the heaviness "nailed to the floor" type thing...I even got some work done!
She's going to be a guest in my grow room again very soon :leaf::clap:

I never did any crosses but i know of some members that have and have had good results. I am currently working with a headband crossed with killing fields. :fire: My friends call it Head killer...Though pineapple is never far from my mind. There may be a cross in the works when I get my current project stable.

I have a Cali Conn Blackwater x PE in starting flower right now. I bred the seed in 2012. I will let you know.

yes PE was Mom. The Blackwater was a true male from regular seed that showed no purple coloration and had frost on it. That's why I started chucking its pollen. here is a pic of a different F1 from the same Blackwater stud plant. This one is my Super Perp: Blackwater x Super Skunk. It matured in about 52 days.

I'm glad you liked it. Me and a friend watched pineapple express the other night and now he wants to get me some PE seeds. I was wondering if it would be good. I tried to talk him out of it after i saw most of them were auto but i think g13 had the photo's. They also have a PE #2 said it was more sativa leaning. I might try to get that one.

I never found one that smelled like pineapples. If you really want pineapple weed C99 is the way to go. That said, the cut I had of this is still alive and quite a few people like it. I don't, but others do. It yields very nicely if done right. I'd put it in the higher yield category. Smell is kind of messed up for me though, it's a subjective turn off. Potency is ok not mind blowing but most casual smokers find it more than strong enough. Great bag appeal. Suspect there are probably better than I found to be had.

Thanks for the report.

Mine wasn't very pineapple either OGE. Mine was an astringent and grapefruit with some un-pinnable faint tropical hint.

Beautiful plant, looks much more indica as any pinex i've ever seen. Guess the Blackwater must have quite an influence. I don't know Mendo Purps but that sounds like some purple indica so Blackwater is what? About 90% indica?

I'd say the blackwater male I had was a bit lacking in Mendo traits, it was a strong sfvkog III favoring plant if you ask me. It certainly stamped its appearance on everything I chucked it at.
