so is this done yet, do u guys think ill get 1 & 1/2 lbs off it. i bet ill get an award without even going to the c. cup

all jokes aside this gsc seed from c.c. was a pick and mix seed, i guess i was hoping to get lucky. epic fail. the pic is day 29 of flower, i will be cutting this large and lanky plant down tonight along with a massive clone killing. i knew it was a low yielding strain but no matter how much research i did nothing would prepare me for this. like i said this was a 1 seed grow, so if you have never grown g.s.c. and are thinking about it i would get a better yielding clone or buy more than one seed.

ill try to get a pic of the size of this plant b4 i chop'r'down

plant looks healthy and it should be potent a smoke. I don't grow for yield, I look for potency, taste and smell. I would keep it around and see how the smoke is, but if you're looking for quantity I understand. you don't want a low yield plant taking up space.

edit - about a pound!

the last thing a grow for is yield, but it is a factor. i believe there is a very nice happy medium where i can have potency flav. and quantity.
jk about the 1.5lb

i would ride it out i had a cc gsc do the same thing and it will get better but not a great yeilder. the animal cookie i run is the clone only not the fake bc bud depot strain and it is way better in every way. hard to score beans of it tho. i think seed junky has a line from it as i remember.

Where did you snag the cut from? Lots of people getting duds... and fake GSC instead of the real deal picking up clones in CA and CO...hoping it's the good shit for ya. looks great either way. take it easy

just soo hard to justify 400w for an oz or 2, i guess its still cheaper than buying it

No offense, but If you're only getting an ounce or two off 400 watts, you're doing something wrong.
i just cant see getting ne more off of that gsc. thats not a norm 4 me but this is a first grow 4 gsc and its not looking good

nah man you got about a pound there...

really what you should do is wait about 3 weeks and then chop her, she doesn't look anywhere near finish and if you chop her now you run the risk of losing a lot of potential weight and trichomes.

That's not always true - some strains just yield poorly. Some are worth it [ Fat Grape Cheese ], others are not [ Space Bomb ]. I have 2 Qrazy Quake clones about a week from finish that might challenge both for lowest yield.

The thing they all also have in common, is super frost.

Let it finish. The eyeball test isn't always accurate when it comes to yield. Another member here recently was shocked at how heavy the GSC nugs (different breeder) were once they were dried and weighed. It might look like an oz and turn out to be 3.

it has been decided to chop all but 2 branches down. 1 branch to give me an idea what the quality is like and the other branch will hopefully give me some cookie dream seeds. im kind of curious to see how she handles the shock. the biggest factor in cutting her down was i can now get back to my normal plant count and give this super soil a try.
