full moon is a love/hate relationship.
i LOVE that it has the delicious tutti fruity flavor that spanks the crap out of blueberry and the reports i've read about it being trippy and that it grows like a real sativa that hasn't been diluted
i hated that i had to transplant it twice before it even STARTED flowering when i was harvesting other stuff and that when it did flower after becoming rootbound twice and yellowing in the leaves, it ALSO hermied on one branch like natural highland thai does too. it's maddening to grow indoors unless you're ready to give it plenty of soil, light & time at the expense of growing faster indoor friendly strains, but when i have enough headstash saved up to wait for it, i'd like to try it again and get all the way to buds and see just how trippy it is compared to columbian gold.
it's a pain in the ass fussy diva to grow, but trippy buds that taste like giant rainbow lollypops (moreso than juicy fruit gum) is something kickass and sure to make anyone you share it with beg you for more or even do some stupid jealous shit like drop a dime on you because you got it and they don't like the stuff the author of cannabible mentions in regards to OG kush.
i'd have no problem handing someone $120 for a quarter of that RIGHT NOW, especially as i've been budless a few months by now.

if you want to grow it, stealthed outdoors or SCROGged indoors are your two best options. as big as it could get, i can picture one plant taking up an entire 3 foot square easily SCROGged, but a square yard of thai top colas? oh... i gotta go jerk off now!

just give your gals lots of light, soil and time and keep your eyes open for hermies.
if anyone else has highland thai, i'd love to try theirs too some day. i'm bummed that i missed the boat on afropips' malawi gold. i'd been waiting months for it to go back into stock before finding out he passed away recently.
i was also bummed that NONE of my mekong haze bean popped as that stuff is supposed to be extra trippy, but it could have been because of cold temps in my room that were messing up a lot of stuff i tried to pop. next time, i'm using a humidity dome & heating mat to see if that helps. the dude at the garden shop i talked to said that baby plants don't like the cold when i asked about it so i bought a dome.
i bet the tiny seeds made a difference too as landrace sativas tend to have smaller seeds & start later like the "mixed sativa" i got from sativa seeds that was a couple weeks behind everything until it rooted and started stretching like a mofo.

nirvana doesn't have the best sativa's, but for the price i would go with their reg seeds. usually get results i like.

if you want a good strain to start From nirvana, look at the more recent smoke reports, because stuff from 2 years ago could be of less quality today, i heard that chrystal was really good, and i got some Nirvana-Blue mystic clones atm, and they are unstable. some indica dominant with no stretch but good smell and 2 others showing beautiful sativa growth. i always advise Bubblelicious, it was the first nirvana i grew, and still some of their better seed stock, great yields (i expect 3-5 oz in a 5g pot under 600w with 6-8 weeks veg.) the more prestigious breeders (as i like to think of them) tend to have low yields with higher quality, but if you go try out >Sannies< you can get the best of both worlds. nirvana is less expensive but sannies is inexpensive too.
