btw, a thirty-year half life means it will take thirty years for half of it to go away, and then another thirty years for the half that remains, half of what remains to go away, and another thirty years for half of the half to go away...you're not seeing the big picture here.
there is a video that shows the nuclear detonation that happened. i don't have time to find it now, but i will and link it for you. start at the web site..
it doesn't matter: let's say it is 50. thirty years later, i'm at 25. thirty years later, i'm at 12.5 and thirty years later, 6.25. then, 3.125, and then 1.56, and then .78, and then .39, and then .19 and i suppose we'll get to where it doesn't matter, but it will matter for a long time. in my small example, we are at 240 years.Your not knowing the weights involved, that matters. For the simple, How Much. Did you know the lethal does from Cesium is projected a hole thirty feet. So how much of it and where is it spread ? into the water give it a vehicle to travel with in the form of life because it sinks like Lead. Into the ground kinda isolates it better if no life is around.
"...as little as one third of a gram of Cesium-137, made into microparticles and distributed as a smoke or gas over an area of one square kilometer, will make that square kilometer uninhabitable.Your not knowing the weights involved, that matters.
