id pay not attention at all to it. as long as u always ph youre water/feed and youre plants look fine u will have no problems. ph swings in the medium are qiute natural. it will just having u banging youre head on a wall and can have u actually creating problems

i would say the same thing. if you're worried about your ph being too low you can always mix a bit of domolite lime into the top of the soil.

If it's constantly that low every time you check runoff you have a ph issue.

Get a actual soil test kit for ph, test an hour after watering and again in 24 hours to see if ph meter runoff checks are accurate. .

Runoff phing is pretty accurate, but in some soils, especially all organic, a ph meter might not be accurate for runoff. If you are using nutes then it should be more accurate. By week 4 of veg using just water feeds in FFOF soil with perlite and lime I can get my soil ph to the 6.5 I want and continue it until harvest with ease.

How old are the plants, what soil, what nutes?

pH swings happen, true. But this one seems a little extreme. Has it happened to you before? Usually, when i see something going wrong, I look to see what's changed in my growing habits, and that tends to show me what I need to adjust again.

good luck

I find most PH kits to be total junk. Unless you have a good digital PH probe that needs to be calibrated a few times a years then dont trust the results. I had a soil PH probe that I got at the hydo store and it always reads 7.0 no matter what, I can even put it in my reef tank water which has a PH of 8.2 and the probe still reads 7.0, I have a very expensive controller with a PH probe for my reef tank that needs to be calibrated 3-4 times a year with 7.0 and 10.0 ph solution so I know that one is working correctly.
If your plants look good and are healthy then dont worry about PH so much, it is more important if growing in coco or hydro.

thanks for the advice peoples! fo ya info i dont use a ph meter i use a drop test kit which after spending a hundred on a meter, seems to work just as good. imma start mixin my nutes a couple days in advance to let the ph adjust. thanks again!

Yeah fuck ph,only when i use hydro is when imma care about ph.The ph of my water is prob 7-7.5 the run off idk idc but if my babies get lil yellow spots then i know its too high and i will fix it with a carbonated water lol no ph up or ph down.If i get any deficiency from ph i'll only just fix with a light nute spray(even in flowering) and a good spray of water.
