Ft. Collins

im moving to Ft. Collins at the end of this month/early july from good ol' Texas

i went up a month ago and got my drivers license and my red card

any good advice on different dispensaries that should be looked at and good hydro shops?

i got to experience budding health, pretty damn awesome, but id like to go somewhere with a larger variety

Everyone has their favorites, but IMHO the best are Natural Alternatives, Colorado Herbal Remedies, Foco Compassion Center, Infinite Wellness, and Abundant Healing. Check out WeedMaps if you haven't already...
As far as Growstores I prefer Alpenglow on College ave. Most people head to the Wallmart like Way to Grow on Mulberry though.
Peace!

No prob! And I also wanted to tag on Organic Alternatives as well....just picked up some awesome Chernobyl from them and the selection was looking huge and great! Really...the more I shop in the Fort the more I feel that there are only a few MMC's that are not worth going to. The rest are all pretty awesome in their own way and it just depends on your preference!

I can usually find top quality at Choice Organics or Fort Collins Compassion. Free MMJ sells complete crap but its cheap.
My everyday and top of the line usually comes from fort collins compassion, but choice organics can almost always match the quality and their daily bud specials make them cheaper often. If I don't have much money and I just need something to smoke, I hit Free MMJ. It's total crap, and the last time I was there they sold me bunk hash, so now I just don't go there. Its always an option tho, and between those 3 I've always been happy or at least satisfied.

I like A KIND PLACE on Prospect. It's kind of hidden behind the ciropractor office. $50 1/8ths. Awsome meds.

you probably won't see $35 here. With all the rules changes going on this week , gotta just keep growin my own . I just like to sample something different now and then.

More like 1984. Fifty dollars for eighths (top shelf or mid-grade) was the going rate in Colorado since the early nineties until the dispensaries really came onto the scene in 2009. A couple of dispensaries have my email address and they've been sending me some unbelievable coupons lately. If you shop around and "clip" coupons, you can get a top shelf ounce for $200 - $250 with tax included in Denver these days.

yeah i was seein this kinda pricing in the mid-late 90's: $50 "kind" 8ths $300-325 oz's, $40-$50 mids quads, $50 shwag oz's, $100 oz's of beasters (looked like kind, smelled like kind, no seeds, no potency either lol!) those were the days... ;-(

I have always been surrounded by growers and growing myself, can't ever remember paying out the ass for kind! Shit in the mid 90's I was still paying $30 for a three finger lid. GROW YOUR OWN! No need for purchasing @ dispensaries much because CO and FoCo in particular is flooded with growers and a ton of great fucking kind buds!!
