Fruit Flies!

I'm trying to figure out if these little bugs I'm having flying around in my clone propagator (currently turned to seed germination set up) are a harm. There arnt THAT many, only a few come along here and there, and honestly they are all over my house as well. But they seem to like my little set up for my girls that are just starting life and I worry bc they are fragile right now. I am not sure if they like the light or the coco I have them in.

I've done my research and I originally thought I had fungus gnats. So I went to investigate... definitely no fungus gnat larvae in the coco at least ... Then I managed to trap a few and get good look through a magnifying glass. And what I've found is they are most definitely NOT fungus gnats! They are fruit flies without a doubt.

I don't see much information out there on fruit flies being in plants top soil (coco). And what I do run into in forums I just saw a lot of people saying nah those are fungus gnats and fruit flies don't care to be in top soil. But for real... I sat there like fruit fly pic fungus gnat pic fruit fly pic fungus gnat pic and these are fruit flies.

But to the point anyways... Are fruit flies even an issue to have? Or are they kinda just annoying?

If they're gnats they can stunt the growth and development of overall plant. Organically you can get mosquito dunks, if they are circles crumble soak in water then strain them out and use the water on plants. Very safe. It's been the best working stuff without hurting the plant. But that's me.
