I really like this tread and have been trying to find one that didn't just fade out over two pages : )
I packed up my growing gear after my last harvest which was a mineral grow as I believe mineral fertilizer has it's place and trust me there are a good couple of threads over that side of the fence about DIY mixes from scratch as once you can see the cost savings but more importantly the degree of straight up daylight robbery that takes place which is more evident in the mineral dept due to companies having to label ingredients and % ect as apposed to a general npk figure and the magic mystic ingredients.
I have done many organic runs but in the past only with bottled nutrients which gave good results and since I packed up my gear I have lent it to a friend who has an AC as where I stay the summer days frequently get to above 33-34'c so up to 93f and on a really hot day in peak summer the days can regularly hit 36'c about 96f so you can only pull off about 1 or two grows between autumn and spring and even in spring ac can be required.
Getting to the point lol.... My friend who has borrowed my system doesn't have much xp in cannabis cultivation so I recommended he use a soil mix I have used in the past with some of the banana/papaya/squash flowering mix as a booster. I will get some pics from him a bit later after work.
This side of the world access to main stream products is generally nonexistent and obtaining specific ingredients such as neem meal/ soybean meal can only be obtained in sacks of 20kg + from a farm co-op..... and bat guano rears its head about twice a year before being out of stock.
Some info on this soil. I have been interested in trying to make my own super soil that can replace my use of mineral fertilizers. This mix has been a work in progress for about two years now and well tested by another friend of mine with a large garden and no prying eyes.
Basic Soil Mix currently in use
This is per +- 50L volume and has been composted for at least a month after being loaded with molasses and EM to hasten the process with the exception of the seedling mix which can be used immediately.
Seedling Mix = used in those 3x2 seedling trays.
17L coco peat + 17L perlite + 17L EWC
400g basalt rock dust
200g fine dolomite lime
200g diatomaceous earth
Up Pot Grow Mix = transplanted out of seedling trays/clone pot. We using about a 2.5L pot with this mix and there is no need for additional fertilizer.
20L coco peat + 20L perlite + 10L EWC = Scale as necessary
400g basalt rock dust
200g fine dolomite lime
200g diatomaceous earth
200g kelp meal
200g bone meal\
200g Alf/Alfa meal or organic seedling fertilizer/mulch mix. Talborne Organics Seedling mix 6.1.5
Flowering Mix = this mix is used in a generic 35cm pot that holds about 25L of soil+- .
Same as above grow mix with additional
300g bat guano
200g organic flowering mix - Talborne Organics Flower 3.1.5. This stuff is very cost effective at $5-6 for 2kg of this stuff.
Once the plants have grown large enough in the 2.5L pots they will be transplanted in to the 35cm pot filled with the flower soil mix as apposed to layering it like a super soil and after about two weeks will be flowered.
All the nutrients needed to have a successful crop stress and worry free. In mid - late flower the Banana/Papaya/Squash FPE is used once a week as a booster.
We give a small splash of em straight from the bottle into the feed water every other watering.
TLDR = Organics simple and effective.

eat or coco or biochar:vermicastings:sandy loam. 
but never have just done it. I have a large sanpedro that I grew up with and took a cutting for my kitchen counter but that is where that stopped.
