A little better look at the mainlined "manifold".
Grow the plant to 5-6 nodes.
Top back to the 3rd node.
This is where all the nutrients will come from for all 8 tops.
Then train that first split to grow horizontal.
Top those tops and now there's 4.
Veg a little and top all 1 more time for 8 tops and sit back and watch them huge bottle brushes grow.
The plant thinks each of the tops is the main top.

I did the scrog and it is a lot of work all the way thru veg and the first good stretch in flower.

This method, all the plant training is front loaded.
Once you have created the manifold and secured a few ties, your only worries are nutes, PH, and temps.

I'll take the less work for more NUG!

The system overall is now working flawlessly!
The "rain drain" in the res had to go.
WAY too much splash in the Koolatron res.
I first took it off and just ran a tube with no holes straight down into the soup right over the pump.
This didn't work because some surface bubbles get slurped down the drain and kinda slow things till it gets a little deeper, more pressure from above then it bubbles & clears.
I wanted a more dependable steady flow.
So I puled the plug out of the end of the "rain drain" tube so the liquid could flow freely and re attached it in the res with the end sticking in the water far away from the pump for better circulation in there.
Any bubbles coming downstream now just bubble out the side of the tube as the water flows pretty steady now. Perfect!

The Koolatron res is not cooling just yet but not needed right now... but soon.
I am looking around locally for a 120vac/12vdc trans at about 5 amps to power it.

I think I will wait till till right before flip to introduce UVB and CO2.

After an initial spiking of the PH from the new growstones, everything has stabilized nicely and is sort of on autopilot right now.
Soon time for the first topping!

Plants are super strong, really poppin up!

Oh, and the Hanna Tester is freakin SWEET !!!
Makes life SO much easier.
This thing works great, needs minimal calibration, stays calibrated longer.
Great piece of equipment !

I had about 3/4 oz of larfy popcorn buds that were covered in trichomes and sugar leaf.
Didn't care to smoke all that extra plant material so I ground it all in my little metal weed grinder. You should have smelled this!
Both strains were included in this mix as well as some leftover vaped weed.
I then did a DOUBLE qwiso wash and ran the fan on it all night long outside, and brought it in this morning and finished drying the water out on the stove.
Scraped it all out and got a NICE 6 gram ball of hashish !

Well I was up early this AM so I topped 2 of the 3.
JUST did it...
Man, was that DIFFICULT to squeeze the fiskars... dang, that was a lot of beautiful plant to cut off !!!
The 3rd plant is there node wise, just a little behind, I'll give her a couple more days.

I was at 5 nodes, poppin #6 so...
NICE tightly spaced nodes, most likely because of the Phillips 315w CDM ?
They damn sure are not stretching to reach some good light !

Jacks roots.
If you look close you can see where the soup squirts right at the net pot at the waterline (2 streams).

BTW, the stones are perfectly dry on top.
Second pic shows how they sit in the soup and all the aeration.
