fresh air/flowering in the night cycle

how important is fresh circulating air in the "night" during flowering? is it more important during lights on?

It's important to have circulation for many reasons. You need airflow to allow fresh co2 around the plants. Circulation also reduces chance of mold and other problems.

Its important during both dark and light hours.
