Start with the cart see how it goes at events in town etc. The cart outside the courthouse in my area is making huge money at 350 a crack for a hotdog plus chips and 1.60 sodas. Create a track record in management then try a franchise with the 50 k you will make in the first 18 months, Get licenses and permits and rock and roll kiddo.

I like Cali's advice, ya gotta start somewhere and those carts in a rural area just might be the trick. I heard franchises are the way to go but stay away from Quisnos.
