FoxFarm SOIL ONLY: Which Feeding Schedule to Use?

I've notice a few different feeding schedules. Is it because FoxFarm is refining it's nutrient schedule throughout the years? I've uploaded the two I found right now. I swear I thought a saw a third from FoxFarm somewhere.

I have Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom. I also have Beatie Bloomz and Open Sesame granules but have never used them.

Do you use the recommendation on their schedule? If you cut down on nutrients how much and when do you go back to full strength? For example, what's your nutrient schedule for each week of the different nutrient dosage?

Example
Week 1
-Water
-Water with 1/2 of the recommended nutrients
-Water
-Water 3/4 of the recommended nutrients
-Water
-Water full dose
-Water

Week 2
-Water w/ 1/2 recommended nutrients of new formula
-Water
-etc......

If you have a custom FoxFarm feeding schedule, please post use and results.

If you have a custom FoxFarm cloning nutrient formula, please post use and results. I used the FoxFarm recommendation for clones and suffered serious yellowing. Granted they were tiny throw-away clones just to see if they would root.

If you've ever used the other FoxFarm nutrients, please post use and results.

FYI: I'm asking for result comments and/or result pictures since many posts and videos talk about how to do something, but posters don't follow up on what happens.FF Soil Feeding Schedule Current.png

As a rule no nutes as soon as FF recommends.Remember they are in business to sell all they can. Next I would not feed over a 1/4 strength solution initially. Do you have a water report for the water you use?

Instead of schedules I strongly suggest an EC/PPM meter. You can test pH adequately with test strips from a swimming pool supply and they need no calibration.

They're in the business in selling all they can, but who would want to continue being a customer if every time one fertilizes, the plant dies or gets sick.

I've been using the pH UP / pH DOWN kit to test my pH of my water and nutrient mixes. I think soil samples are too inconsistent. The content of the soil isn't uniform in the container. If my moisture meter gets a wide range of readings depending on where in the soil it's placed, I can only imagine the same goes for pH.

I've used FF for years. Don't go by the feeding schedule. You can test you soil to see how high or low your N-P-K is in you soil with a testing kit for $15. Buy one and it will save you in the long run. And like HotRod said, buy a PPM/EC meter.
