Are you sure your pH is too low??? Ocean Forest is set at over 7.0, it would be really difficult/weird if your pH dropped. Horticultural Lime will neutralize your pH if that is the problem, but if you haven't taken a reading, your problem is more than likely too high of a pH, not too low. In either case, you should get a really nice pH meter, and use scientific readings to address the problem.

Out of all the replies this one is hitting dead on point. If you have not tried PRO-MIX BX. This medium is superb when mixed in with FFOF.
COCO-COIR. , Do a 50/50 mix of pro-mix/ffof. Mix together. Never seperate in pot(ex. %50 on top and %50 on bottom). This will get you the best results. It is currently what I am using. Check my Organic grow out. Tons of Pics!
